Surly the puffer fish has more charm, personality, wit, intelligence and entertainment value than all the rest of the HM's combined and he's better looking too!

The 250 k would set up a nice trust fund to take care of him and he probably will need that since he's the only HM who won't be able to get a job after the show ends. Apart from Ben I guess but Ben has a boyfriend to support him and Surly is all alone in the world.

the show needs more surly

but australia doesn't need a surly spinoff. it's a gag that only works in the context of how lame and boring the HMs are when left to their own devices
 
Actually puffer fish are highly venomous so I don't think people will be keen to get too close to Surly

although i would like someone in the house to poke him and watch him puff up
 
I would love to see the HM's faces if BB announced all HM's are up for eviction then told them Surly got the most votes to save. How good would it be to see them try to compete with, or try to make best friends with, a fish?

Given that Surly is venomous they couldn't even eat him to get rid of the competition although Layla has threatened to eat him before so I don't know if she is aware of that little fact.
 
I had a pufferfish like Surly (I also had a non-spiky one who was eventually much bigger). Both were quite good-natured pets & ate frozen prawns, mainly,

The glass horse is a close second, quiet and mysterious. Then maybe Flopsie if it can dump Angie and join the in crowd.
