I an hour south of Newcastle and everything seems ok here at the moment. It's mostly affecting Western Sydney, I think

I believe that Newcastle airport is closed, found a website called CRIKEY and it has a pic there.
I am aware that the airport isn't actually in Newcastle , but it is still scary shit .

Then I look out to Bondi, its all red and dark.
