Apologies if this has been mentioned already, but I didn't see a thread and my serach didn't find anything on it ...
In case you didnt hear about it ... Mike Goldman escaped a house fire with his wife and one-year old baby in Brisbane a few days ago. In a TV interview with the ABC he said he was thankful for smoke alarms.
