Love For Layla?

I've noticed over the two weeks there has been a lot of love for Layla on the main Big Brother facebook page and with her high % save vote 2 weeks ago.

I used to be a fan of hers (she was my fav female) at the start of the show but I've slowly going off her and I'm not really 100% sure as to why I don't like her as much anymore. I think maybe it's the fact that she admitted (although I don't believe we ever saw footage) to Ben that she thinks being in a relationship is always better if you're in Big Brother. The fact that she literally went from George to Sam in the space of 12 hours. Those are really the only two things that bother me about her but they are big enough to warrant me from not placing any save votes on her, compared to week one where I was saving her the most!

Layla is like a Teflon coated duck. She makes or attempts to make a funny face. Or says "what's a big brother" and everyone forgets she does some of the worst behavior in the house and they love her.

This is EXACTLY how I feel too. I used to like her a lot in the beginning but then one day I just... wasn't too keen anymore, with no real explanation as to why. Weird. I mean, I don't hate her but I don't really love her either.

But I do believe that at this moment in time she is the most likely to win the show right now.

I totally agree! I want to like her as much as I did but I just don't anymore!

I've never liked her, the whole playing up of her stupidy is too much a British BB tactic as is the use of showmances (while pretending they are something serious). They are viable tactics, but I just don't find them entertaining. And they tend to fool the younger part of the audience into thinking it's all real.

I liked Layla at first but what turned me off is the two fake showmances, as it didn't take her long to crack on to Sam once George left.

dont dislike her dont like her, dont care if she wins or loses. I just dont know how I care. she is nice. Reggie was silly and said stupid thing , still like her.

Yeah she is likeable but think the relationship with Sam is for for strategy.

I think this season has been an interesting contrast of styles , maybe its effectiveness or lack there of depends on the target audience , we 'll know in 10 or so days.

They are biased to Layla, didn't show her bitching about Estelle (only saying something nice) and gave her big coverage at the start of the positive montage.

I didnt really like Layla at the start, but she's defo grown on me.
At this point i'm thinking she might even win this

The opposite for me. I liked her at the start, before I got to know her personality. I know she has a chance to win, but she doesn't deserve it, she knows what she is doing.

I really liked her to begin with, but the way she treated Angie, considering she was her bestie for the first 6 weeks or so left me cold, equally her dumping of George for greener pastures with Sam. But she's not malicious or spiteful she's just wishy washy...doesn't know her own mind really.

Think she is easily influenced by the people around her and maybe she just wants approval and acceptance from the majority of hms.

She's harmless and has a gorgeous face, accent could do with some tweaking though...lol....and she may the 2012 BB winner to boot.

Don't like Layla much, don't trust her. She hooked up with Sam for winning purposes, now she's going to end up with a broken heart. She doesn't deserve to win, she's not a particularly nice person.

Layla fully intended to hook up for showmance advantages and she was making moves on Michael to begin with then she found out that George was a millionaire and went after the money (despite Zoe calling dibs on him the minute all the girls watched him enter the house for those of you who are getting upset about Estelle not respecting Zoe calling dibs on Michael).

Layla heard George in the captains quarters and realised she wasn't looking too good for getting HIS money but thought she'd keep trying anyway and then Sam enters the house and Angie called dibs on him.

Upon getting confirmation she had no chance of getting George's millions Layla went after Sam (despite Angie making it clear she really wanted a shot at him) and she totally got aggressive with Angie to the point where Angie lost her cool and made herself look so bad it put Sam off.

She has backstabbed and bitched as much as the rest of them but is good at making her bad behaviour look cute so she gets away with it!

She's popular though I don't know why. She instigates a lot of the bitching, backstabbing and then goes and blames Angie (or others generally)for her dismal actions. Yet Angie's gone and ol' Lay is better than ever in that department. Does not deserve to win.

I can see through her game playing, but I'd still prefer her to win than some of the others.

Yeah, I tend to agree, when Sam talks about continuing the relationship on the outside you can see her eyes are darting around as though it's not really what she is looking for.
Bad Layla.... has she been using George and Sam in the house so she has less time available for any bitch sessions, I think she likes them even though she denies it.
Mmmmmmm!!!!
The plot thickens.

It's a wonder no one has mentioned this (but then again maybe they have I just haven't seen it yet).
Last night when Zoe, Ben and Layla where in the bedroom discussing the whole Michael/Estelle hugglegate thing Layla said someting along the lines of "Well you know what they say a romance keeps the vic vic away because you end up getting a lot of positive air time". Then she seem to realise just what she said then sheepishly added "Oh you am I to talk".
Soooooo Layla knows having a romance gives you a positive spin but maybe the wheels are starting to fall of the Sam/Layla romance - she's been quite snappy a Sam the last few days.
