If the higher-ups think like that, they are probably very wrong in all levels. Like I just don't understand why every executives think like that for Big Brother, when the main draw is surprisingly the livestreams themselves?

If Big Brother Brasil or other versions of the shows can do it and still get decent ratings, why can't they?

If I’d only watched the daily shows and none of the livestream I don’t think I’d be anywhere near enjoying it as much and as invested in the housemates. I do have other issues that bug me about it but I’m still enjoying it. They’re ruining it though with these large periods of censoring.. it was bad with the weekend situation earlier and now that it’s at crunch time of the season days that are usually really good are being turned into “flamingo” days as well.

I agree, and imo they're shooting themselves in the foot. This stunt alone has destroyed trust in the show, the fallout is insane!

I don't know as well if they also exhibit this similar behaviour during the marathon streams as well, especially with the Lachlan situation at that time

It was so brief and brain not fully paying attention but there was also something about the screens with who is nominated not going back to normal. So that was feeding into thinking they're still up.

We don't know. Some of the conversations seem to suggest Coco and Em are still up. Others seem like speculating they might be. Theorising. It's too censored to know.

Agreed, it's weird how mysterious the live feed is. There's no reason for the lack of transparency.

TikTok added a broadcast channel/bulletin board feature thing last week, hopefully next year they start using it for feed updates. Kinda wondering if the defensiveness is a calculated PR thing though. If they warned us they would be opening themselves to criticism.
