I’d love to know the actual reason they have imposed wake-up and bed times this season.

Probably like Seven treating it more like a 9-5 shoot. Once they're all in bed and locked in from the rest of the house, they only need probably only one person to produce the stream feed because they'll (mostly) be asleep. $$$

And as you know, OG BB offered hot water to entice people out of bed in the mornings so getting them out of bed has long been a thing.
