With a lot of the housemates this year, I can't help but think of Gretel's old mantra - "vote for the house you want to see, not the house you'd want to live in". Ordinarily, the people I have enjoyed watching the most over the years (no judgment please) - Sandra, Dave, Tim D, Ben Z, Boog, Michael B, Camilla, Farmer Dave, Tim B, Fryzie, Chrissie, Dan and a few others - are people I could imagine myself befriending in real life. This year though, Skye & Priya have really 'caught me' and are among my favourites - but in real life I avoid Skye-like girls like the plague, and Priya seems far too cold to ever be someone I would be drawn to.

Liking someone as a person vs liking them as a housemate...

I think I haven't really seen enough of them in daily conversations to know if I like them as a person or not.
I would say people who bring easy entertainment are big personalities like Travis, Skye and Jason? Although everyone else could be entertaining and we just don't see it, ah!
