Layla's nationality only bother me to the extent that she had obviously followed BB closely in the UK, and since the Australian show tends to copy the UK one, she had the advantage of knowing what "tricks" were coming next (ie the "second" house, etc). She's been one step ahead of BB the whole season. She's obviously a huge BB fan.

What bothers me about Layla is her (to me at least) obvious attempts to entertain us by playing the airhead. Knowing BB inside and out as she does, there is no way she didn't know the meaning of the word "strategy". When you see her in serious conversations with other housemates, she uses intelligent language, but then pretends to not know what a hand grenade is. I don't mind when people "play the game". I actually like it, and I respect those who can do it well. However, it really bothers me when an intelligent woman "dumbs down" because they think that's what the public want to see. When she does it so badly that it's easy to see through, then that's just bad game playing.

I think for someone who apparently struggles to understand basic questions, she's always completely spot on when BB is giving the house instructions or explaining what's happening. She's often the one to clear up confusion. Which points to the, "what's a chair" type comments being an act.

It's possible. Her fans know they need to do more, vote more. Estelle's fans have a, "it's about right" but that's based on how people were voting before the percentages.

Looking at the live updates she seems to be spending a lot of time with Zoe bitching about Estelle. So the camera time might not help at all, depending what they show while voting lines are still open.

Layla is as thick as thick comes. In an non-genuine way. She's so dumb that she thinks playing extremely dumb on certain random occasions (like when she knows she's getting screen time) is a good 'strategy' (Oh wait, she doesn't know what a strategy is! Or a metre!) and I'm sick to death of everyone saying Estelle has these multiple personalities when one minute Layla is the sweet, dumb, enormous dumbshit, next minute she's holding her own in a conversation with the housemates.

I will not be happy with Australia voting for the typical 'dumbass bimbo' to win, I would rather see Estelle stick it to everyone and win. And then I've got this image in my head where she smacks Ben out with her skateboard, stands on his body and in a mocking tone of his own voice screams "THE SICKEST!" before riding off the stage on her little toy pony.

A Finale to remember. I honestly hope she has been bottling everything for the sake of winning and then just explodes on the stage like

I've noticed the eye rolls. I've also noticed how she clears up confusion regarding rules and challenges. She was also the first to say she was going to stop bitching about Estelle and "become her own person" when she started to realize that Estelle was being saved by the public. She correctly guessed that this was because of all the negativity being thrown at Estelle and didn't want to appear to be rude to a popular player. So she pretended she was just "being led astray" by Angie and essentially threw Angie under the bus to further her own ambitions in the game.

Honestly, I would find all of this admirable from a game playing perspective if she didn't try and play the airhead card. Really, this is the 21st century. To try to be popular by pretending to be dumb is just insulting. It insults the public by assuming they are dumb enough to fall for the act, and it insults the efforts of women everywhere who have struggled for so long to be taken seriously as thinking human beings.

I don't think Sam's genuine fans would easily transition to Layla, if anything they are more likely to be Estelle fans. His honesty and nice guy approach would resonate with Estelle's following.

Absolutely agree with that. Not quite sure where Zoe and Michaels votes would go as I still can't comprehend why anyone would vote for either of them.
