Lawson playing the game



Little River Band aside, I think Lawson's strategy is to be the nice guy. If he can endear himself to the HMs, they'll be less likely to nominate him and Australia will love him. However, he has to be careful because if he's too nice for too long, they could nominate him for strategy or for flying under the radar. So, what he has to do is ever so slightly ruffle a few feathers every so often. Priya, I believe, is playing a similar card post-Power.

Are any of you implying that playing the game is a bad thing in BBAU? I thought that's why they were all there.
 
He may just be grateful for what he has? Think about it though, how bad would you look if you didnt offer the female the money. Had it been 2 guys they would have rocked off for it but why would he say he lives comfortably and has a great life compared to Aisha? Theres no sob story there to win. He doesn't play up to the fact his mother died. if and when he does then we can have this discussion.
 
His mums dead and hes realised that life's precious so might aswell enjoy yourself instead of being a miserable twat. I dont see him doing sneaky things so far, but who knows he might
 
He has a great attitude to life. He lost his mother at 19 years of age and still said he has lived a blessed life and genuinely seems to enjoy it. Losing a parent will probably change how a person views life and 20k probably wasn't that hard to give to someone else because he appreciates the other things like family and friends in life. I don't see this as playing the game at all, but rather someone who is fulfilled in life with what they have and anything else is just a bonus. But if he does play the game, then good for him!
 
Think Lawson is playing a very smart game.
Take the $30,000 for example. He saw the way the HM's reacted to Lisa and Priya with their $10,000 each. So he gives the $20,000 to Aisha takes $5,000 for himself gives $5,000 to Jake. No discussion. Decision made. Any HM with their nose out of joint if the money has come from the prize money (still not sure about that yet) are going to be more pissed off with Aisha than Lawson. Clever tactics.
