Jade Actress?

So I saw a thread somewhere else about Jade being an actress, didn't catch or understand it all.
But to clarify what I know, I spent about 3 hours sitting with her in the waiting room for GC auditions.
She's definitely an aspiring actress, she told me she's attended a small acting school in upper NSW or something and tried a bit of modelling or was going to something like that.
She's certainly by no means an accomplished actress.
But she's definitely studied it.
That being said she was VERY Naive, she had no idea of the audition process, like she was one of those people surprised that it took MONTHS, so I wouldn't really think she's come in with that much of a calculated approach.
Anyway, I'm probably rehashing shit you already know.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.. Although I'm not surprised to hear that at all. Girl is DELUSIONAL! She hasn't got an ounce of talent. She is so self-conscious and uncomfortable, she can't even take part in the BB fun and games without her head exploding with stress. She will disappear back to the bar she came from in a hot minute. Who knows? Maybe washing glasses and serving beer is what she's good at?
 
Thanks for the info. Yeah, apart from Italy's next top model or whatever the show was she's also been in a show where they do act called 'camp'. Made in Australia, for the us. I think it was cancelled recently though.
 
The way the poor girl shakes like a leaf when nerves over come her is sad to watch. I hope that acting helps her over come that, and wish she'd draw upon that talent more during her time in the BB house. She's kind of like a pot plant at the moment. Just there.
 
Nerves =/= no talent.

And conversely, being outgoing and confident =/= talent.

Some actresses are painfully shy but still display considerable talent and tenacity to achieve success.

Not saying Jade is or isn't talented, I haven't seen her act, but yeah... we can't make assumptions based on her personality.

BS. All actors get nervous. I've seen them shake but they learn techniques and use the fear to bring great performances.

They reckon the anxiety before say opening night @ the theatre is equivalent to two car crashes (source: NIDA instructor).

We have no evidence either way if she can act. Can't see her doing comedy...

I'd rather do an Italian movie than an Australian one.

I agree with you. I do recall someone saying Jade was great in an acting role. I'm not judging her ability at all, nor being cruel about her nerves. I really do feel sad when I see her shake like that, and want to give her a big hug. I just wish she'd use that talent during her time in BB. I watch to be entertained :)

Perhaps you guys are used to everyone flaming everyone else and can only read posts in that vein?

I was not being mean to Jade at all. I sincerely want to wrap that girl in my arms and hug her tight when she shakes like that.

All I was saying was I would like to see her use her talent in the BB house because I do not find her entertaining whilst all she does is hang around Ed.

Anyway, that's all from me on that topic.

My comments were mostly aimed at [MENTION=37211]Beebeebee[/MENTION] who was clearly questioning Jade's talent.

I didn't interpret your post to be mean or nasty at all, I happen to agree with everything you said.

I am somewhat of a Jade fan.

Anyway... moving right along...
 
Comparing Jade to real actors performing on stage is laughable. A real actor can put the nerves aside, feel the "pre-show anxiety" and perform their role nonetheles.. Jade can't turn off the nerves, can't step out of her shell, can't play anything other than the beige we've seen all season. Full stop. We have seen talent in many of the other HM's on occasion after occasion. Jade shines like a blunt rock of cement.
 
I have to see it to believe it. Let's just say I would be shocked if she could actually act. She was lousy in the marriage challenge. The HM's were suss within 5 minutes.

You have no evidence in a scripted environment.
 
Out of interest, does anyone have any links to any acting work she has done? I don't think she's going to exactly be Meryl Streep, but it might give me a better idea of her acting skills than in the house
 
She would make a fabulous actress, though I'm not at all sure if she can act or not.

I could see her in something like HOME AND AWAY............
