Is Tim's sudden interest in Lucy tactical?

During Thursday's Daily Show, Tim mentioned to Heidi that they should mend their friendship for the sake of the Public Vote. He made a reference to Drully and Jade/Ed surviving Eviction then suggested that getting together might improve their chances with the Public.........Heidi laughed it off and implied that it couldn't work now that Tim had revealed his intention to the viewers by talking about it.

At the end of the episode all the Housemates are excitedly heading into the lounge when we here Tim say to no-one in particular that he has a "bit of a crush" on Lucy, and that he "Can't stop looking at her". Hmmmm, What an odd coincidence.....He's never mentioned this attraction before. Tonight's Daily Show ended with a lovely shot of "Tucy" all curled up together, so the producers seem happy to help Tim in his latest gamble....

Tim doesn't do things by half measures, and every move he makes is calculated .......

Any thoughts....?

Well they are very popular receiving a larger amount of the public vote than expected. Although i'm not sure how Tim would know that fact...

All he needs to know is that they all survived eviction - especially Drully, who are polarising people with their "adulterous" ways!

Although Caleb was kind of with Lucy and didn't get voted for, so it may be genuine.

Good point. Tim didnt like Caleb and thought he was stupid though so he probably thinks he will do it better haha

I think he's simply getting horny and she's the only single girl left in the house that isn't already taken/interested in someone else. As smart as Tim is he has no clue what % people are getting on the outside. For all he knows the girls barely slipped through when they were nominated and are seriously hated. :)

Oh ok that makes sense then, he knows those 2 will be split up eventually and Lucy will go (as the HM told im in the hotseat) so he will look sad and gain more sympathy votes.

He doesn't need to gain sympathy votes, he is doing just fine as it is.

he doesnt know that! they made him think he was up against Caleb remember?
For all Tim knows Caleb was evicted BECAUSE he was messing around with Lucy.

I think you guys are putting way too much thought into it. The guy just wants to get laid and/or genuinely thinks she's cute.

But she was with Caleb. Why would Tim do that? He must have a reason what ever it is, we will know eventually.

My point exactly! Thank you :) I was hoping you would reply with this as now I can say, that tim doesn't know what the public perception is, so you can't know whether this thing with Lucy is tactical to gain votes. Just saying.

Remember last week on LNF when the sisters walked into the house looking upset during Hot Seat and we didn't see them for the rest of the night? And then Lucy didn't say goodbye to Caleb or look that upset when he was evicted? We had assumed something happened between Lucy and Caleb that night because of their comments on the weekend and Caleb's when he was evicted. From Tim's eyes it could look like: Caleb and Lucy argue on Fri night, Caleb gets evicted on Monday which shocked the entire house as everyone assumed he was a massive favourite to win. Or the public hates the sisters and evicted Caleb because he was with Lucy. When in fact Tim doesn't realise we didn't see the fight and have no clue what happened. Can go either way I guess but I'm still standing by him just being toey. :)

more air time? if Drew is busy with Tully all the time..

Oh yes, I do remember Lucy saying something to the effect, that she was not as close to Caleb.

Some of the things Tim does annoy me, but I have no problem with him playing the game. Why wouldn't you do everything you can to win. With this amount of money, you would be stupid not to.
