I'm voting Penny to win and here's why:

I want a send a message that BB this year was terribly executed, that it didn't matter who was in there for the first 60 days, because we barely got to learn who they were. All season the only things we saw were heavily (and badly) edited storylines without a semblance of rawness nor integrity.

Penny came in guns blazing and making the most of it. As far as the one-dimensional characters we are allowed to see, she is the one I enjoy watching the most at this point in time.

We've had a strategist win, we've had quiet people win, we've had a cute blonde girl win. Penny may fall into a ditzy-girl category, but I find she comes from a similar vein to Reggie in BB3. Someone who is honest and simply enjoying the ride.

But I digress. Big Brother this year has been a mess, we've gone weekends with no information, no raw footage, only minutes of live footage, shoehorned storylines, and way too much focus on events and not enough on interaction. We only see repercussions of the juicy bits.

So Penny has my vote as a big F U to the team who showed us nothing. Let a person we barely know win, because in the end, we barely know any of them anyway.

Your vote wont be seen as a 'big F U' when that's exactly what they want you to do. Firstly, Penny was chosen because she would be direct competition for Skye and secondly, out of all the intruders Penny seems to be the one that will make it the furthest. So you're hardly sending a message when you're voting for someone that is widely liked.

If anything you should be voting for Tom, the naive housemate that the producers haven't paid any attention to and predict will be the first one out come eviction day.

Or better yet, start a campaign and get voters to stop voting all together. How hilarious would it be if no one voted and they couldn't evict anyone?
 
Penny is my favourite! And Prisus.

But what I love about her is her bubbly, ditzy, random, funny personality. She is definitely a great win! I would love to see her in the end with Prisus. She's such a beautiful person, and her or Prisus need to win BB14.
 
Sadly, with the said quadruple eviction next week, Penny wouldn't survive (especially against Skye and Ryan).

Let's hope it's a triple eviction at least, so we'd see Richard, Tom and Leo going that week. And they can make the eviction after that week quadruple.

Who's Luke? And wasn't there a thread about a quadruple eviction next week (double evictions, two nights in a row)? :confused:

I hope they'd stick with the one-night double eviction. Otherwise, Penny will be in danger.

If Penny had been in from Day 1, everyone would be sick of her by now. She is just bringing life to a house that had no real energy or entertainment value for weeks. I like her, and if she wins it would be hilarious, but the producers won't see it as a slight to them.
 
My intention isn't that Penny deserves to win over the other housemates, it's that one of the four latest intruders should win to spite the bad execution of the show. I chose Penny because she is someone (I believe) most people can get behind. I wanted to show that due to the lack of decent coverage of original housemates and poor execution of the show, an intruder who has been in the house for only few weeks should win despite the show running for 80 days. I hope that makes my point a little clearer.

Someone mentioned before that the people running the show want her to win. I don't think that's true, I think they chose four likeable people who were purely filler.

But C9 wants your money first. They don't care who you vote for, for as long as you vote.
 
i want to support big brother, but i don't want to support what they did this season. having people sit in the house for 80 days and be beaten by someone who's been in there for only about 30 is a way to show that the format this year didn't work. i don't want to boycott big brother by any means.

i can see your side too, that not supporting this year at all and not voting will show that this year failed, but that could also suggest that general interest in bb isn't there. i WANT them to know i'm an active participant in big brother by voting, but voting for someone who was barely there.
 
It just dawned on me that Penny was this year's Boog and now I can understand why she wasn't put in at the start. She's the one out of the 4 newbies who has injected humour into the house as everyone was getting run down and bored but she wouldn't have been able to maintain that - nor would her HMs have enjoyed that - if they'd already been living with her for 2 months. Viewers would get sick of it as well because it wears off and you want to see more from a HM than just silly faces and a high pitched voice.

Voting for her isn't a big FU to the producers though. If anything I think they're well aware that she would immediately pick up support like Boog did and she's in there to provide some laughs for the audience when things are winding down. She won't win but she's a good vessel to get rid of an original or two ie how Mikkayla was finally evicted last year.
 
I was thinking that when she came in, her voice like blog sort of. But boog was nasty, Penny is an angel towards boog. Booger was a mean bogon.
