As we pass the halfway mark, just wondering which of the evictees people are missing? I'm missing Sarah the most, she was entertainment gold and I would have loved to get to know Charne better. Ryan had some entertainment value, but I wouldn't say I was really missing him.

I am missing Ray the most for sure! I am glad that George and Ryan are gone. I agree that it would have been good to get to know Charne better because she is obviously a much more interesting person than we saw if she made it into the House. I think she was cast because she fit the mould of kind and intelligent which were two things the producers were looking for. She also stood out because of her looks.

I harbour a strangely nostalgic feeling about Ryan. He was easy to ridicule which was a source of entertainment, but there was also a sweet side to him that was quite endearing. A number of people pointed out his keen awareness of his dumb image and his desire to improve himself.
He reminded me of Charly from the short story, Flowers For Algernon, the intellectually disabled subject of experimental brain surgery designed to artificially improve intelligence. In the real world there's no such hope for Ryan, which is probably for the best for his sake but I don't want to go into any spoilers. Perhaps it's this sour note that for me raises the sweet quality into relief. Ryan, the bitter sweet aspirant simpleton.
I'm fairly sure that, as is usually the case with nostalgia, I'm just wallowing in a roseate rendering of a HM that never existed. Doubtless should he reappear I'll be bruising my forehead with incessant face palming within minutes.

In that same way he reminded me of Forrest Gump. Not in a way that i miss his input to the house though.
I think maybe Ray added something.. but if i had to choose one to go back in it would be Sarah, who was very entertaining for all the wrong reasons

Ryan - On rewatching some earlier eps, he was kind of fascinating to watch.
Sarah - she absolutely had me in stitches, so Kath and Kim it was almost too much. "I nomoinate Michoill" And the passive aggressive attitude was gold "You will look at moi and you will LOVE it!" People really couldn't stand her in or out of the house but I felt she was the perfect type for trainwreck TV.
Ray - I had just started to warm up to him.
But ultimately Sarah would be the one I'd want to come back, just for the sheer hilariousness,

You know, I'd almost forgotten how old she is.
