If George doesn't go now, he might win by default. Wish it wasn't so easy for him.
Mining workers tend to stick by each other, and maybe 55c phone calls are not as big a dent in their budget as it would be to the average tweenie.
Also, George's mother is not poor, and if you remember the Logan Twins deal, it is entirely possible that George could have decided that x amount of save votes is a good investment if it stands a good chance of yielding him $250,000 in cash. If he has a large support base (like Angies Brotherhood) it doesn't look good - I doubt we will get a chance to evict him again, after all, there are not many circumstances where he would be up for nomination with just 6 out of 50 nomination points ( and it is a bit out of the ordinary that he even got two people nominating him, for any points).
This pot plant is now up against two housemates who are very unpopular in the house, who did not seem to be astonishingly popular outside the house, and whose fans have already spent a certain amount of money saving (although some of that might have been made from betting they would stay in the house.)
It might be the only chance we have before final three to get rid of him. What a shame it is save votes.
Hopefully his fan base is narrow but enthusiastic rather than broad and deep.

I find George's voice hard to listen too, petty I know but that is just the way it is.

Last night alone he used the words "seen" and "them" incorrectly. eg: "I seen them people over there". Not the end of the world I know but just one of the many things that irritates me.

It's ok. I've been bracing myself for the anticlimactic banality of him winning since he first walked in the house. It'll sure get tedious when we come to the pointy end of the game.

I'm just hoping Ben lasts as long as possible to break the monotony of his lumbering dullness with well timed eye rolls and acerbic observations.

I tend to disagree. Although only 2 nommed him this week, as time goes on and the less liked HMs are removed, he will be nommed again as he's sort of between "the in group" (Michael, Josh, Ben, Stacey, Zoe) and "the absolute outsiders" (Estelle - and previously Ray and Ryan). Brad and Angie are also in that in-between group and keep being nominated.

There are obviously a lot of morons in this country, and judging by the official Facebook page a disproportionate number of them watch Big Brother. I've spent the past 10 minutes opening up the profiles of all these "save George" idiots and scowling at them.

Yes, they are. There are even people out there who think (or at least thought) that Angie and Josh were a proper couple. There was a twitter comment that came onto the screen during last night's show just when Josh was either bagging Angie or hooking up with Ava that said something along the lines of "Angie and Josh are so good/cute together".

And it's not just 14 year olds who think like this. There's a massive number of idiots out there who treat BB like it's Home and Away or something. They don't put any thought into the opinions they form of the housemates and don't pay any attention to the true nature of the relationships in the house. This is why we get such a dumbed down BB. When people say only idiots watch Big Brother, they're probably 99 percent right.

I saw some comments that said Layla will be sad if George goes. Even though we've seen Layla say she'll leave George if someone else comes in, and all those other comments from George and his other girl on the outside, etc.

I want to know where all his fans were hiding these past few weeks, now all of a sudden he's mr popular. He'll most likely be safe.. by a big margin.. and that sucks.

Personally it makes no difference to me whether any of the housemates "need the money" or not. Hopefully the winner will be the most deserving based on the game and the time in the house. If that is George so be it.

I don't think George will win by the way, but what his wealth is should not be a factor.

Same, I don't give a damn whether the person is rich or not. If the rich person is nice, I'd rather they win than the complete jerk and asshole who is poor.
