Gemma's failed "strategy"

Is it just me, or have things Gemma has said since leaving the house..."you have to make things happen", "you have to think", "I wanted the focus to be on me"...sound like direct quotes from interviews with Tim Dormer and Alex M? It's as though she read them before the show, thought she'd found the 'winning formula' and tried to directly replicate it...without any consideration for the fact that this is a different group of people and she is not Tim Dormer. I really don't know what she was thinking...if she was trying to 'do a Tim', she failed to realise that, unlike her, Tim was not fake, did not deliberately alienate people and was actually charming, funny and entertaining.

She just came off looking extremely selfish "I wanted all the attention" "At the dinner, I wanted the attention on ME, not on Tim!" ughhhh she couldn't be more annoying if she tried. :bang:

I found it hilarious that she tried to school the housemates in "strategy" in her departure video.

Hellooooo wingnut ... your so-called "strategy" got your ass booted first from the house!

So Gemma's "strategy" was an epic fail - at least she went into the BB House with a clear idea of what she wanted to do and did it. She wasn't afraid to go against the pack and stand out and for that she gets kudos from me. I rather watch Gemma and her failure of a "strategy" than most of these HM's that are "flying so under the radar" that sometimes you forget that they are even there. Sometimes I wonder if some of the HM's are slipping out the back door and disappearing for a few days. Did I want Gemma to win? No but I would have liked her to stay in the BB House longer.

Her strategy only failed because the other housemates disliked her so much, which was the deciding factor in her eviction. If it was up to the public, she probably wouldn't have been evicted.

But agreed, I didn't want her to win, but I at least wanted her to outlast the housemates that are flying under to the radar, like Ryan, I always seem to forget he's even in the house.

I think the difference between her and Tim was that Tim was more indirect. If I recall correctly, he caused trouble more anonymously through others, etc. whereas Gemma was her own shield.

ppl dont seem to be taking this into account. prior to tim entering the house, were the hms aware that they would be saving one of the evicted pair? i suppose this entire time i have been running under the impression that gemma and her gameplan were pretty much thrown to the wolves by bb on day one. i reckon gemma came to that same realisation and figured it was too late to do anything other than simply continue running with it.

Yikes , it pains me to even write this as she said that she wanted the attention whether good or bad, but what a twat ! What the hell was she thinking ? Even her mother seemed surprised by her actions, I would find it hard trusting anything she says or does in the real world after that . By the way , did anyone notice how Cat seemed to up the ante for doing stuff after Gemma's leaving video ? (ref stealing back the cans of soft drink )
