Feeds v Streaming

It just occurred to me that there is a difference between feeds and streaming.
Am I going to be disappointed if they live stream and don't have a constant feed?

What? Bit confused what you’re asking.

It’s been confirmed by Mel, Sarah Thornton and Ten that the house will be viewable 24/7 via the 10 app and website. Albeit moderated and slightly delayed, we can likely anticipate the feed to be cut from time to time for censorship purposes (standard practice, and similar to the OG days) but it’s still expected they’ll be transmitting footage round the clock.

It won’t be a stream channel of the broadcast episodes on repeat, similar to what 7+ does. If that’s what you were suggesting.

On the stream, do we think we’ll get the uk style bird ambience when they’re discussing things that can’t be streamed or go back to the Aus style of “we can’t show you what’s going on in the house right now”?

By feeds, do you mean the old school official website text updates that paired with the online video stream? If so, eager Behind Big Brother members will be able to post their own streaming updates after Big Brother starts in the Fan Diary:

Thanks, given that a lot of promotional material has been hyping the 'live stream', it occurred to me that streaming TV is how the commercial networks try to compare themselves to streaming services which in my mind are 2 very different things. Maybe I have been remembering something different, from the promos?

I remember they used to have a diary where they would post what was happening in the house every 20-30 minutes which was great for Non Australians like myself who couldn't access the live feeds back in the old 10 days. That was actually a decent way of keeping up.
