Not sure if this show ever aired in Australia but it was a show that most older Canadian millennials will have watched in their tween/teen years. Never would have thought that Ryan Gosling (who was kind of a secondary comic relief character) would be the one to go on to ‘make it’ in Hollywood.

For as shitty as this series was this was a pretty decent choice of theme song. Very American but still captures a very similar sweet sounding earworm of a melody of the original. A shorter version also played for break bumpers.

Here’s the OG Skins UK theme for comparison and when I complement the US series theme I mean it as the original is IMO one the greatest TV themes of all time. Especially considering it was remixed yearly from S3 onwards.

Quite good. It does however make me kind of sad that Jim Henson’s legacy has been pretty under appreciated under increasingly corporatized Disney.
