Evicting Gemma = Madness

I want to keep Gemma just for one more week because it's so funny watching her ruining her own strategies by revealing what she's doing. When she came out of that little house on wheels, Jason apologised for hurting her toes and then straight away she admitted that he didn't really hurt her (she was faking being in pain). I don't like her at all but she makes me laugh, so I hope she isn't evicted this week.

Yes and no.

Yes. Gemma creates drama. She seems like an enjoyable oddball. Would love her to stay.

No. Travis is just pathetic. He is on a way high horse and think he's all that. Creating drama or not, this douchebag should be GONE. Somebody should lower his ego already - I would love to see that stuck-up face of his when his name is announced for eviction.

If it comes down to her and Jake, and they choose her, they are seriously dumb and I hope that if it does happen, whoever goes in the second eviction, is someone who voted for her, because they just sealed their own fate.

i'd rather see david go the guys just saying crap to get noticed the whole saggy tits thing was for attention
Gemma irritates most of the HM's so keeping her is better value
travis is a annoying self centred prick i hate him
The stupid idiots vote the wrong ones out at the beginning and the show turns into a boring days of our lives saga

Jake knows how the housemates feel about Gemma so he will not be worried if they are bottom two. He knows he will not be voted out, I am more popular than Gemma. He has let her hang herself and as a partner has not given her any support whatsoever. Cocky. :(

I have a feeling her and Jake will be safe tonight. Her bizarre ploy for camera time has probably netted her a few save votes, and votes for Jake will also work in her favor.

The positive attention being focused on David recently should also help to keep him and Sandra safe, though I think the whole shaving of the beard "event" was designed to bolster his support, which may mean he and Sandra have the least votes.

Ultimately though, I feel like it's going to be Travis and Cat on the fewest votes to save. The teen crowd have been too busy saving Lisa and Skye this week to even care for Travis. Without Ryan as his partner, there is less compulsion to save him. I feel like if they choose to save anybody now, it will be Jake, though most people are probably smart enough to realize that Jake will be safe no matter which pair is voted last. Cat has been given the silent edit this week, and has been very much a peripheral character, so the individual support for her is going to be quite low. It will all depend on how much individual support Travis has. He's a talking point so it could be high, but he's not that likable so I think it won't be enough.

A week ago, I would have said Cat would be the evictee of choice for the housemates, but after yesterday, I can't be so sure.

This one is tough to call, so we'll just have to see what happens.

I hope this is the case.

I like the storylines that are developing with all other potential-evictees (Gemma is awkwardly-entertaining, Jake's being crushed, David has chilled, still hoping Sandra will be like her introductory video) - except I really don't care about Travis or Cat.

Fingers crossed we get one of these minor players gone tonight.

God I hope you're right!:bawling:

Well. That was horrible. What a godawful nasty way to evict someone. Or anyone. I won't hang around as a viewer for cheap cruelty, so I hope that was a one-off mistake, not a sign that this year's BBA is descending into Sandilands type depths again.

I don't think Gemma has been entertaining in the slightest but agree it's a stupid decision to evict her - by the housemates.

With individual nominations she was a lock in to be one of the nominees - while the opportunity to get rid of all round house favourite Jake in a game they keep trying to tell us they are playing strategically was just ignored. The only saving grace from tonight is that Jake obviously isn't popular enough to save Gemma - I think he'll probably be a "shock" evictee very early in the game.

I don't think she was entertaining. I understand why they evicted her though - she seems super annoying to be around, and even as a viewer, I was annoyed by her. Don't get me wrong - the conflicting, out-there character can be great, but she fell flat. I grew up on BB USA where legitimately hateable-yet-lovable characters often do well, but BB AUS is a totally different system where you NEED to be liked by your housemates.

Thought it was awful of her not even to say a proper goodbye to Priya though - the only person in the house who voted for her. Shows how much Gemma sucks at this game.
