This isn’t really newsworthy but it’s interesting content.. lots of 10 shows on it.

lol what you think isn't newsworthy, I think is possibly the most interesting piece of information I have seen posted for a while.

To me this seems to be Endemol and Channel Ten getting prepared for BB live.

It was the future maybe 15 years ago but they’d be better off doing short form tiktok content that forces itself onto your FYP, the trouble with YouTube is you have to search for content in order for it to be recommended to you. TikTok’s algorithm literally throws everything at the wall and sees what sticks

I was looking at the BBAU YouTube channel and the latest videos posted were from 17th-19th January this year. I found it odd, but now seeing that, it makes sense.

Moved to new thread, though "stars" is pushing it.

No, YouTube is far stronger than TikTok - partly for the reason you mention with the algorithm actually working rather than pushing content the platform wants you to watch and mostly because you can monetise long form properly produced content there. Broadcasters are increasingly going to YouTube because it's easier to go to that audience than to get that audience to come to you.

That said the content here isn't great - mainly piggybacking on other content. The odd hidden gem may show up though.

TikTok is great to boost engagement among the young /or those with short attention spans.
