Just attempted to embed an Instagram post but was given an error saying the URL cannot be embedded as media. I’ve also had issues with SoundCloud URL’s as well. Both services are listed as approved sites.

Facebook changed the rules and Xenforo doesn't have the ability to do what Facebook requires for embeds now.

But, I'm looking at alternatives.

This might be weird, but a guy I follow on Twitter noticed his Instagram post was also posted on Twitter (previously Twitter only had a link to Instagram pics, not the actual pic itself I think?). So in theory you could post the Insta thing to Twitter then share the Twitter post here?

Content people are embedding usually doesn't belong to them. In my case it's been video meme's from @sainthoax.
