None of those things should have been repeated.
There is nothing wrong with a good bitch session but it should remain firmly where it belongs, behind people's backs.
 
Oh no, its daylight savings tonight... which means Qld joins SA, NT & WA in delayed telecasts....

Only NSW, Vic & Tas will be chatting together first on the daily show threads - we cant have daylight savings in Qld coz it makes the curtains fade 'n babies & cows 'n things wake up an hour early or sumfing.... :rolleyes:

I hate not having daylight savings:( I have family in Ballina, and driving back and forth over the border for events, can make it bit of pain with the time difference
 
Hmm I know, I'm going to Melb cup & apparently it takes an hour to fly down there & 3 to come back... hahaha
 
So I'm just getting my head around forum and posting on phone. I have been lurking for some time and tried other forums in the past and reckon this one seems pretty chilled with intelligent and respectful discussions without too much bullying, vitriol or biased moderation.

My take on recent events is that:
1) jade is dim but harmless and not really a player when push comes to shove
2) tahan has been consistent and 'genuine' and would be stoked to see her be the last female standing and even take it out from here
3) mik, who I loved and respected earlier has lost all credibility and should now be the next evicted female
4) drew and nathan are both equally meh and add nothing to the show
5) the female intruders are both more interesting than mik, jade and nathan at this stage
6) ben is a very clever fraud who is admirable in his strategy, but shameful in his blatant appeal to the lowest common denominator in the voting public (as weak as tony abbott in his plea)
7) tim for the win

I just thought it was interesting that you only listed Drew and Nathan as adding nothing to the show but in the full list you had nothing to say about only one housemate - Ed. I think we clearly know who you really think adds nothing to the show :p
 
Haha yep, poor old ed is that forgettable. but I would place him above both jade and even drew in providing some interest to the show
 
Quick thought: Mikka brought up Tahans habit of saying something and adding "just joking." Didn't Jade do the same thing in the kitchen? She said her comment, then immediately went "I didn't mean that." And I know Mikka's done it before.

Exactly. Have some people really never heard of the expression "oh, go die in a hole" ?
It's not a phrase I use, but I'm pretty certain it's been said to or about me on occasion.
It's not nice, sure, but a genuine death threat? Hardly.

I've heard the expressions and think they're both pretty offensive. Of course they're not meant to be taken literally, but references to death and burning are pretty low and grotesque I reckon. Telling someone they're dumb or fat is mild in comparison.

Considering the housemates themselves seem to have gotten over it in record time, yeah. I think we can all stop running around with our skirts pulled over our heads in hysteria at the horrific death threats now. Nothing to see here. ;)

That's pretty much my take, too, although I'm a bit over Tim at the moment. Tahan to win, for me.
