Episode Day 33 (30th August 13) 30min Daily Show

I think he is banking on an Estelle vs Ben type situation to get him ahead. Neither Estelle or Ben would have got as far as they did without the other. Ben going against Estelle made people want to save her to spite him, the more Estelle survived, the more people threw their support behind anybody but her to win. Estelle was regularly booed by the eviction crowds when she survived, but she still survived.

Tully survived that double eviction. That's enough for Tim to know that she has support out there, enough support to place her above two others in a pool of 6. Make Tully the enemy and the centre of attention, and maybe she'll get enough support to keep her in in spite of all the people who hate her. Keep Tully in and make her your nemesis and suddenly all that hatred for her becomes your support. Vote for neutrals who cannot be manipulated like the others and who therefore pose a threat to your source of power alongside your emotionally manipulable Tully and watch them get evicted - it worked with Xavier (you got that, Tully?), now maybe it can work this week with Caleb.

Tully is only useful to Tim when she gives him that moody reaction. It's what he uses to get the public on his side. What he's hoping for is that the public will think of him as the hero who gives the disliked Tully her comeuppance, but that she'll still earn enough support from all the attention to keep her in the house where she is available and ready to exploit.

I like your theory, and generally read your posts with a great deal of interest. I'm going to have to disagree with this, though.

The sticking point for me is that it presumes Tim has a long-term plan which is that narrow. I honestly think he is completely winging it day to day, just taking whatever opportunities the HMs give him. Last night, when he set Tully up, he was quietly in the bedroom by himself - it was Tully who came in to have a whinge and he just soft-pitched a vague ...something... her.

And here's the other thing - i'm not entirely convinced Tim heard much of anything. I think he might have had a vague realisation they (Drew and Jade) were having a D&M with regard to Tully, but he had nothing specific - and that fed into the opportunity perfectly, because Tully filled in the blanks with the worst possible scenario.

That example aside, I think if the "me vs. tully" thing built up, he'd run with it, but I don't think he's seeking it in pursuit of other opportunities, nor do I think he has it particularly in mind long-term. In fact, I don't think he has anything in mind long-term except to sow chaos and distrust to a) keep the other HMs distracted and off their own games, and b) entertain the bejeezus out of the voters who will keep him in.

I will note, however, that he does seem crafty enough to have thought that particular scenario through - so in that sense, your deep strategy analysis is probably on the radar for him, and certainly a possibility I hadn't specifically considered.

Thanks for posting that. :)

Drew says, "What the fuck are you talking about," and Tully responds, "Don't talk to me like that."

It was Drew who raised his voice at Tully.

because she was being a spoiled snot and cracking the shits because she was jealous that drew and jade were cuddling and when she whinged to tim about it he said something that made her think it might possibly be about her and used her bratty huffing and puffing to make sure drew got in trouble for something he didn't do and when he was defending himself he got irritated and barely but maybe raised his voice a tiny incy weeny little bit to be heard over her berating him. how dare he treat her so badly.

In the edited version yeah,
but in the unedited version Tully is being more unreasonable and throwing the word shit and fuck around as well.

Apparently you need it spelled out for you, so hear you go.

Tully: I don't give a shit, Drew. Okay...like...I don't give a shit. I don't like being spoken about behind my back, especially when it's you.
Drew: You know what? I said about two words to her.
Tahan: It's just me, guys.
Drew: It's all right.
Tahan: Okay.
Drew: You wanna hear what I heard?
Tully: No, I don't really, 'cause you've just--
Drew: No, it's fine, I mean, like--
Tully: You've just like...I don't know why I expected any different.
Drew: Oh all right, well I'm just gonna start speaking--
Tully: And of-course Tim has to be the one to let me know.
Tahan: Do you want me to like...go?
Tully: Maybe, Tahan.
Tahan: Sorry.
Drew: Doesn't matter.
Tahan: Okay.
Drew: Um...all right, well I'll tell you what I got told and then--
Tully: No. I...I just.
Drew: I don't...all right, well what do you...what do you think I said about you?
Tully: I have no idea. I just got the idea that you--
Drew: So how can you be angry at me?
Tully: The idea that you were talking about me to somebody else--
Drew: If a conversation comes to me do I just like stop talking?
Tully: Obviously not. Just like how you don't...shit...you say one thing to me and to Tim and to everybody else, and then you go and do another, do you realize--
Drew: What the fuck are you talking about?
Tully: Why are you talking to me like that?
Drew: Because you're talking to me like that and you're not even listening! You don't wanna hear what I have to say! And you don't even know what happened--
Tully: Don't fucking talk to me like that! Are you serious?
Drew: You're talking to me like that! I'm talking to you exactly--
Tully: Don't swear at me! Have I sworn at you?

Is it clear now? Just in case: She's saying she hasn't sworn at him when she did THREE TIMES before he did.

I can only hope you look at your family and friends with the same rose-coloured glasses that you do a stranger on a reality show.

Drew knows that Tim is trying to bust up his relationship with Tully. He is going to have to confront Tim about it at some stage, but he's going to have to be careful of how he goes about it.

Okay Honey, I'm just going to interject right here. I've read this entire thread up to this point and every single one of your posts mentions Tully (or refers to her) at least once.

What do you think that say about the people who read your posts? My opinion; If Tully isn't popular then she is still certainly interesting. She is arguably one of the most talked about people in the house at the moment.

Your posts simply prove thy fact.

Then you misinterpreted the point of my post. I pointing out many reason why she shouldn't be saved and I ask people why she should and I get nothing in return, apart from a bunch of Tully supporters running and hiding from the truth (not unlike Tully herself).

Me pointing out why she shouldn't be saved and getting no response as to why she should be save is not an even remotely logical reason to save her. If people keep ignoring her bad attitude in the house and treatment of Drew (the only person she genuinely talks to) then I'm happy to keep reminding people of the reasons why she shouldn't be saved. People can only be ignorent of the truth for so long.

If someone would give me a genuine reason for saving her then I would be happy to listen. The ironic thing is that if it wasn't for all the blind (and potentially over rated) Tully support I wouldn't have said a thing. She really is the only person in the house that I have significant problems with, her attitude to everything and everyone is terrible and if she doesn't go this week then it will be next week and at least I can take comfort in the fact that the longer she last the more money people will be waisting on her.

Honestly, despite the sentiment of you post, I believe that most people that read my posts will understand and agree with what I am saying and that combined with what happened on Friday's show, will be enough to kick her out of the house, though it wouln't bother me if Ed went. I find Caleb infinitely more appalling to watch than Ed and Tully combined and hopefully people will at least save him!

Amen to that sister! No-one ever has any good reason for why they like Tully.

in the unedited version after Tully had said shit a few times at Drew, and he swore, and she warned him not too, she later says
Oh my god, you're a fucking jerk sometimes!

she always complains about ppl doing stuff, when she's doing the same thing as well

Watching the repeats on Go. Mikkayla is the one the HMs predicted most likely to go. She is the most boring and contributes the least to the house! Now they all hate Tim for saving her.

yeah i think they assumed that Mikkayla would be next and are now worried, especially tully and jade at being evicted.

everytime someone is saved or swapped causes conflict/gossip and it will get worse as the weeks go by

Mikkayla has made it very plain that she has to be saved to keep Mr Clooney in the house. She absolutely depends on the dog.

Are you talking about her little vote for me thingo during the eviction show? Because I did think that was a bit lame; she should have thought of better reasons.

I think Mikkayla will last atleast three more weeks...she has more of a fan base than Tully, Heidi, Caleb and Matt (whose percentage was looking pretty low last week)
I do hope Tully stays for the pure entertainment factor, but the fact that she is cause Drew to waste so much time on her when he and Tim could be up to their antics is a shame, it also makes people like Drew less...

Mikkayla was also only nominated by Ed for 3 points, unlike previous weeks, although that could change again with her and tully (if she's still there) getting nominated the most
I think they are miffed also she been saved/swapped so many times

I'm glad Tim won and he saved her...causes so much drama lol

Tully in the DR, crying, because of the boos from the audience, and saying, "I want my girlfriend," and I hear laughter at that from the audience. Holy Shit! There are some poisonous fucks in the audience.
