Big Brother Thursday Sept 5th 'Weird Schedule'

I was just checking the TV guide for tonight and noticed Big Brother is on
Channel 9 from 7.00pm - 7.30pm
then switches to
Channel 99 from 7.30pm - 8.30pm

Pretty weird, clearly it's because of NRL Thursday Night Football.
At least it's better than when the Football is on Friday Night, where you only get 30 minutes of BB - (~16 minutes less ads!)

I'm talking about Sydney.
Is the same in Victoria and other states?
