Hello everyone!
Since we all love the Popularity Tracker, I thought it would be cool to add another game to the mix!
GAME: ALPHABET ATTACK!
RULES:
Turns: Like in the other game, only post once every 24 hours.
Aim: Eliminate and/or protect housemates of your choice by the letters in their names.
How to Play:
Each turn, you are allowed to make ONE move by either plus or minus 1 Letter of the Alphabet. You cannot add letters to a housemate's name that doesn't exist in their name or add extra L's to Allana's name when she only has 2 L's in her name.
As a result, you will remove or add your chosen Letter from ALL of the housemates names i.e. any move will affect ALL housemates who share the same letters in their names. If your move is "Minus L", you are removing all L's from the housemate's names including the 2 L's in Allana, the 2 L's in Holly and anyone else who has L's in their name (Abiola, Colin, Emily, Michael).
Strategy:
You must attack strategically, as many housemates share the same letters in their names and will be hit in the crossfire. If you decide to use your turn to "Minus M" to attack Michael - you must remove all M's from the other housemates too such as Mia. If someone took their turn to "Minus M", you can choose to take your turn to "Add M" to put the M back in to Mia and Michael's names to protect them.
Some players with longer names like Michael, have an advantage and are harder to eliminate because they have more letters. Players with shorter names like Mia, are vulnerable due to having fewer letters.
How to Eliminate:
When a Housemate is out of letters, they are in Limbo but are not yet eliminated. For e.g. Michael can remain in Limbo (zero letters left) until someone uses a turn to "Minus Michael" and then his name will be striked through and will remain eliminated even if some of the letters in his name are revived later. When you Minus/Eliminate a Housemate in Limbo, that does not affect any of the other housemate's letters.
Result:
When there is 1 last housemate standing, they will be declared the winner of that round, and we will begin/restart a new round to repeat the fun!
Intruders/New Housemates:
When Intruders enter the house, we may add them to the game board. Intruders will retain all their current letters when they are added, even if other housemates have lost those letters at that point in time. For example, if Intruder "John" enters the game, and the letter J has already been removed from Jane, that does not affect the J in "John" and someone needs to take a turn to attack the J in "John".
