Clearly Big Brother has limited resources to obtain an extensive music library. I would like to flesh out their music for this year.

1. Big Brother Theme Song
2. That money money money song
3. Some Kenny G sax song

Any other songs in their regular rotation or is that it?

If you listen closely when music is playing, the music we hear on the broadcast isn't always the same as the tracks the HMs are hearing. One time i could make out an Ellie goulding song, but some generic crap was put over the top so they didn't have to pay to broadcast it. This only occurs cause of the HMs microphones and 9 is stingy.

If I were a HM I would sing public domain songs all the the live long day. That would begin to fill the void of music. It would be pretty thought annoying to others though, when you consider the songs that would leave me with.

But yeah, your list seems pretty exhaustive there. That's all I can think of. That's possibly better than The Block where they cram every Top 40 pop song they can think of into every episode.

I don't think he even lets them sing public domain songs.

nope, cause they'd have to be constantly checking everytime someone sang a song, so its easier to have the rule, no singing.
god forbid if they sang happy birthday or said "Lets get readyyyy tooo rummmmblleeeeeeeee!"

hmmm, edit: just realised that probably isnt general knowledge so i'll explain.
Warner Music gets over $2M a year in royalties for the happy birthday song and Michael Buffer who trademarked his phrase "lets get ready to rumble" has earned well over $400M in licencing deals for it and sues the pants off anyone who uses it without his permission (successfully too!)

Housemates are NOT allowed to sing or listen to any COMMERCIAL MUSIC.

Its against copyright and all that exciting stuff due to it being a TV show.

IF they want to they would need to pay to use it.

This is why the housemates are stopped and they don't listen to music.

I briefly heard Ed and Jade the other day when walking to the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" task singing a commercial song, can't remember exactly what song it was though...
