Big Brother 2002 on official YouTube channel (Live streamed Aug 8-10)

if they keep this up im gonna have to wait 3 weeks for 2005 which is the season im going through at the moment hahah. so annoying but oh well
 
NICE! looks like the live streams will be every Friday, then after that, 2 weeks worth of episodes uploaded daily :)

I’d love for them to upload CBB as it’s the only season I’ve never seen. The YouTube copy was in really poor quality and I just never found time to watch it. I’d love to be able to finish Sara-Marie’s arc tho, but I’ve never heard anything significant come from her second run.

I’m curious if they’ll also upload the pre-season “Housemates: Who Will Be They Be?” casting special, which aired before the premiere.

They didn’t upload the 2001 pre-season “Big Brother Revealed” special (at least not yet), so chances are they might not. A shame again since, in my opinion, these are crucial to the overall integrity of their respect seasons. (Same goes for the 2001 post-season “Evicted” special.)
 
Wait. 2002 was also the year they ran a short adjacent series with a bunch of would-be Intruders living in some separate lodge, wasn’t it?

It’s been a while since I rewatched BB02 but I recall their being some sort of “secondary” episode/s that ran after or alongside the main series for the first week or two? Or am I remembering that completely wrong?

If so, I wonder how they’ll go about uploading these.

Yeah that was the twist of the season, 6 intruders in an intruder house and the viewers voted three in. Kieran, Brodie and Nicole were voted in. I don’t remember the other names except for Hayley who I wanted to get in the house.
 
2002 was pretty boring but the component with the potential intruders was sort of cool I guess. It is the season I’ve watched the least of, both at the time and only one dull rewatch on low res, so this might be more compelling.

I agree, I enjoyed all of those specials and had hoped the S1 ones would be included but i do sort of see why they weren’t. I don’t like that they might now be considered lost media if they aren’t being uploaded by BB.

Plus, of-course, the usual Final Countdown and MasterCard specials toward the end of the season. (Was 2001’s Final Countdown special included in the live stream?)
