betting on BB

How can betting be done on this years BB. Big Brother controls everything we see and hear so he controls who he wants us to like and dislike. If he wants someone out he shows only the bad things that look boring but if he wants you to like someone we only see good stuff. He gives tasks to selected housemates only while others go under the radar. Stacey for example does nothing. We see the odd thing with her mostly when she is with Ben but she is mainly not see night after night . When you go int the housemates forum she hardly gets a mention. She is mostly see saying that stupid Meeep meeep which she does whe people are talking ...very rude but you only see that on small occosions . Rigged thats all I can say .
 
It's a reality show, edits happen all the time. That's how they form specific 'storylines'. Every season needs their 'good people' and 'villians'

What does any of that have to do with betting? Why should betting not be allowed because of the way in which the show is edited? If the show is edited so that one person is more popular than another - because "bad" things that person does are omitted - then the odds will inevitably reflect that. This is akin to a football team playing well and people accordingly thinking that team is more likely to win (and further compare this scenario to a housemate who is shown to be nice, and therefore is perceived by people as being more likely to stay).

Editing is always going to affect how we perceive the HMs, no matter what. BB don't profit from betting so I don't see how this is "rigged".
