Forgive me if this has been discussed in a thread that has escaped my attention.. But can anyone tell me what the point of Ben re-entereing the house last night was?? He came in with a prepared little "bit" about his grandma, faffed around and left. While it was mildly entertaining, can anyone explain WHY? Is it just BB's obsession with Ben? Was it to send in a coded message to Drew, to hangin there because Tully IS really waiting for you? There was definitely something off... Thoughts?

I hated it. Ben obviously loved the attention.

I hate how he tells stories. Spent the day with Nanna eating jam drops?!

Yes! It was so contrived! It really felt like he was trying out a comedy bit and it was falling flat.. "OOhahhh! What's this!" Just annoying..
 
I loved it. Ben is adorable and seeing him dressed up as an elf was cute.

BB wants to appeal to all viewers. Some of you wanted to see Tully again (*cringe*) - well I wanted to see Ben. So thank you BB.
 
I'd almost prefer another TULLY appearance to this.

At least when she goes back in the house it's coupled along with some hilariously SCATHING TWEET.

Tully was sent in to destroy the public's support for Drew and Ben was brought in to return Drew's status to that of a viable candidate. So its a zero sum exercise.
 
Whatever the reason for Ben's return, I thought his comments inappropriate.

1. He essentially gave "outside: information to Drew clarifying his status with Tully

2. He bagged Tim big time by calling himself Tim's punching bag - totally wrong!!!

I wonder how much "direction" they get about what they are to say in there & my conspiracy hat was on a bit for the Tim comment, although it could have just been sour grapes showing on Ben's part.

Yup. What you said. I wonder if his Grandmother is tiring of being used as a Ben prop yet.
And, yeah, why only Drew and Boog, why were the others excluded? And why has BB been suddenly drawing attention to Drew being fortunate, with awards, visits etc ?
