Do you know what happened to my old handle? I was a member as 3Jane for years, thousands of posts, and a one-time donor. When I came to log in this year, my email and handle could not be found, I can't even find any of my old posts when I search.

I remember seeing you around - I'll tag the mods @marquisite @Tim @Brekkie and see if I can find you

...hey Tim... not to seem as being a pest... you have in a previous post explained to me that animated Avatars take up a lot of space on the website and that is the reason for there being a 50kb limit... that's all good... I have no problem with that... when I have made some animated Avatars for members I have always kept them below that as per your instructions... some of them all work fine in both the threads and on their profile pages... but some only work on their profile page but not in their thread pages... is this a technical glitch that is causing it or is it something that can be 'switched on' to allow them to work in both areas?... this is not a complaint just a curious question on my part... thanking you in advance my friend... cheers.

Can you give me some examples? I will investigate.

Unfortunately it's quite likely your posts were lost when the forums were hacked. There's not much I can do other than to give you my utmost apology! Do you still love me?

This past weekend it seems that I have had very limited access to the site. Nearly every time I try to visit I am greeted by this message on all my devices:

Safari Can’t Open the Page

unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy.
Wait for a few minutes, and then try again.​

...SepiaBird... perhaps if your Internet connection is running slow the link might be timing out while trying to connect to this website... I have a very quick Internet connection but yet it still sometimes times out... usually on Sunday afternoons and when there is heavy Internet activity at times... I don't know if this is your problem but it could be an explanation regardless perhaps?... cheers.

Thank you @Mr Stickyfingers , but I think I may have found the issue.

My internet is of the fastest in the area so it's not that, I just realised that I no longer have the issue on my portable devices running iOS 10 because I am now running the official release of it.

I'm a BETA tester with Apple so the problem was happening with the BETA version of iOS10 and is still happening with the BETA version of macOS Seirra. That seems to be problem, so I'll just have to wait until the public release of Seirra to fix it.
