Anyone get used to BB as their own family?

Anyone get used to bb as their own family and miss when when one by one gets evicted?

I get used to it and watch the live stream all day long and the thought of someone being evicted tomorrow doesn't make me feel good.

In saying that Jane and Michael - I don't mind if either of them go...

I fear I may become parasocial with this lot, just because I have the livestream on in the background all day. Seeing that much of anything has that affect though. If I didnt have the livestream on, I'd have some other show on and get sad when a character gets killed off and then rant online about it. I've been a fangirl for over a decade, this show wont make or break me.

I do see the housemates as characters, so thats the biggest difference here. I need to be aware they are real people with real feelings that might get hurt by nasty comments. In all of my other fandoms, I'm only talking about the character portrayed, its never personal. So thats the fine line here, for me, to remember this is a production, but the people are real.

I haven't felt too much with this one yet but yeah I have felt it with others over the years and its why I then choose to follow them on instagram or whatever as you miss seeing them regularly and knowing what theyre up to.

I used to worry about when certain housemates got evicted and then be like 'oh well, at least i can still see them appear on rove, or gma or live nominations or fnl, etc'

Then I get so psyched to see them invited back when they have previous housemates invade the house during the current housemates task and they have to ignore them. Like I remember seeing them send Fitzy, Tully, Estelle and Paul back in.

So yes.. with things with the live feed and such and with seeing them constantly each day to then have them seemingly taken away from you when they get evicted can leave you a bit annoyed you didn't get to see more of them in there and wished they were able to stay longer.
