Anyone else finding Lisa more likeable post eviction?!

I thought she was ok even when she was in the house. i didn't care enough to vote to save her, but she won me over when she told Gemma to stop with her feeling sorry for herself because everyone has a sob story of their own.
I thought she was a bit harsh on Gemma there. Gemma's story is unique & sad. She has a medical illness that may cause her to die. It caused her mother to pass away at an early age. It's not like when Jake was telling the HMs how all of his friends have finished Uni & are getting married & he was choking back tears lol

While I didn't really dislike Lisa while she was in the house, this is exactly the same as last year, some people think certain housemates undergo some magical transformation and are such great people after coming out - suddenly they are very 'likeable'.

The truth is you just think they are better because you only get a version of them that they choose to present over social media, you don't have to watch them and their personality and if they are on video it's not long enough for their flaws to start showing again.

But if you find a way to speak to their friends, you find out they are still the same person, before the show, during the show and after it. Some can even stuff up and become annoying over social media as well.

'The house makes you do certain things and feel certain ways' is the new 'I was edited badly' that the show's psychologist tells them to say.

I should mention that it's fine to like someone now that you don't have to watch them anymore and just see their filtered version of what they are doing - just don't be fooled into thinking they have (necessarily) changed from what you saw of them.

Lisa was very harsh, but I don't think Lisa does diplomatic very well. She just pointed out that as sad as Gemma's story is, there are others in the house with equally sad stories (eg Sam) but they don't exploit their story for pity.

Unless you're Jake and then you have every reason to cry uncontrollably because you don't have an accounting degree. I'm sure the Syrian orphans would be heart broken at his tale of woe.
