Angie vs Estelle - Fight!

Well, they are at it again.
Angie starts treading on people's toes as she knows best.
Poor Estelle is victimized by all this and gets walked all over.
Recently she is learning how to respond to Angie's bitch techniques, but it's not enough.
As Estelle is not the strongest character in the house it makes her vulnerable.

Which side are you on?

Angie or Estelle, for how many points, and why? (yes this will form some form of tally when thread closes)
 
If you actually gave both sides of the story, not just sympathy Estelle, it may have been better.

Not on neither side. They both wind each other up. Estelle does a lot of holier than thou, which is annoying and Angie looks for conspiracies everywhere. They both want to say what they think, both think their own opinion is right and better, both don't really listen to the other and both want to get one up on the other. So surprisingly enough, they clash. It's almost like they feel compelled to be with each other, because they are the 'picked upon' ones, but really just can't get on. So to me, they they're both as bad as each other and it's quite interesting to see how they can make arguements out of not a lot!

Still want them to stay though!
 
Actually I don't like Layla, rather then have anything constructive to say was tripping over herself to get to the diaryroom to bitch to BB for some airtime :rolleyes: In BB HM's do have arguments now and then unless you are part of the socially better cool group *cough* . I thought Estelle couldn't take a trick with Angie who clearly won't give an inch in any conversation as she is always right :rolleyes:
 
I ship Angelle, so it breaks my heart when they fight.

Ideally, the title of this thread would be 'Angie 4 Estelle - Love!'

They are the 2 most real people in the house. And that's what I like about them both. Angie is always trying to manipulate people, often into dislikeing people who she dilikes, but just as I can see straight through angie I'm sure everyone in the house does too. So she's pretty harmless.
 
They're both as bad as each other and clash horribly.

Did I mention horribly?

Although from the glimpses we've seen Angie is the one who usually butts-in 'defensively' whereas Estelle also butts-in on the 'offensive' They make a very conflicting pair these two...

I'd say I'm slightly more sympathetic towards Estelle (but not by much!) as Angie is more fiery, passionate and hard-headed in the arguments whereas Estelle is "I'm calm-- I'm trying to say this-- but you won't let me..." yet she still talks over Angie in the process of doing so... which annoys me as talking over anyone is rude in my opinion.

They both like to be seen/ or heard (take your pick) as being 'right' and from what I've seen so far it's their opinions that matters and despite the different tendencies in speaking their mind... effectively they are still the same and refuse to see eye-to-eye...

If it was me, I would have bit my lip and let Angie have her say AND then after she's finished on her endless tirade-- have my say... But yeah -- That's just me.

I bet they become the best of friends outside the house. I' would rather watch them fight than Ben bitch
 
They sat there and talked for hours after that little "tiff" (the baby started crying when layla etc were sound asleep and ang and stelle were still out on the couch chatting), imo they're just like sisters, they get on each others nerves over silly things but it's all forgotten pretty much instantly.

At the time i understood what angie was saying, bb punishes them for foul language, angie told her friend layla to be careful, estelle got her knickers in a bunch over it.
 
Angie remains deluded that

1. She can rejoin the cool group. She lied down on Stacey's arm etc, did some sniffing around with her and so on.

2. She still has a chance of winning.

She's like a pokie addict. One nice win sets them on an addictive, losing and spiralling journey to rock bottom.

The most save event has deluded her too much.
 
I think Estelle knew that Angie was trying to stop Layla from swearing and was cutting angie off. They are all up for eviction. Perhaps Estelle wanted Layla to get punished. That is the way I took it. Yes, those two always clash but Estelle doesn't normally cut angle off that much. Estelle seems smarter than angie and layla, she seemed to be on a mission in that situation.
 
I've said it before but Angie could start a fight in an empty room. She makes the same mistake over and over.

She never picks her battles, she wants to fight all of them.
 
I think the bickering is quite funny because they're both type A personalities. All the other HM's have been an A-B type of character, being able to back down from discussions when needed to save an argument. Estelle & Angie cant do this and will stick to their guns no matter what. Both are used to people just giving in, and cant understand why the other isn't doing the same. The only way they're gonna solve a disagreement is to just agree to disagree, but this could take hours.

Angie tried to tell Layla to stop swearing. Layla tried to finish her story. Estelle tried to listen to Layla's story. Angie kept harping on about Layla swearing even though it was over. Other two got annoyed. Estelle tried to get Angie to stop so Layla could continue. Layla got sick of the fight and left.

Angie can't let anything go which makes her annoying. All points to Angie.
 
I think their 'fighting' isn't anything bad. In the past I probably would have said I'm on estelles side, but now I don't mind Angie. In some way i think their fights are sort of funny.

They're the only two that do it to each other in that house and I've come to look at it like two little kids or two sisters fighting now.
 
i won't call it fighting, very sisterly! lol. even angie pointed that out to estelle.

The pair eventually calmed down, and Estelle pointed out one of the problems between the pair is they’re both passionate. “I indulge you and you indulge me,” Angie agreed, saying they both kind of enjoy ‘bickering’ with each other, calling it ‘their thing’. “But sometimes I feel like maybe it’s the fact you overindulge a little bit as maybe a bit of a challenge in the House.”

Angie admitted to Estelle she gives her something in the House that other people don’t. “If I have a bicker with Layla she walks away from me and doesn’t talk to me for an hour,” Angie also said Michael uses big words, and Benjamin tries to ‘out-knowledge’ her.

“But it’s a bit of you and a bit of me learning where those boundaries are,” concluded Angie. “You tread a little too heavily on my boundaries. That’s all it is.”

“I know I can tread quite heavily on your boundaries and you’ll let me go with that. You can’t tread as heavily as I do on my boundaries … my temper’s a lot shorter than yours … or my snap is a lot harsher than yours,” Angie revealed the secret behind her and Estelle’s path to peace in the House.

Estelle agreed they both need to be aware of each other’s limits, so long as Angie affords her respect in their conversations.

They are as bad as each other. Estelle knows how to push Angies buttons. Angie knows how to push Estelles buttons. No one is being bullied. No one is a victim. Estelle has repeately said she likes "confrontation".
