Episode Australian Survivor All Stars (2020) - Episode 24 FINALE & REUNION Discussion

Not caught up on all the comments but the right result. David had to win the final immunity to get into that final two, and was almost certain to win in either scenario. Think he was right in saying the experience of being in a jury was actually more beneficial than having previously been...

1.5 Billion votes in BBBrazil eviction

Free multiple online/app votes but still impressive - remember the time they topped 100m votes a decade or so ago (back in the day of phone voting). Won't be far off a houseguest having a billion votes to evict - that was quite evenly split this week, though love that 1.5billion votes were...

Big Brother Canada ends season early due to COVID-19 developments

BB Canada did a superb job with their final episode - they've always had superb production values for their premieres and finales especially and this was no exception, covering the period from when they were told the season was over to the final houseguests leaving the next day. The $100k...

    Big Brother 2020 has finished.

The UK one is all being filmed remotely (uses fixed cameras anyway, but crew is usually in a different room). Social distancing generally doesn't apply within the household unless one person has symptoms or is considered at risk.

    Big Brother 2020 has finished.

This has gone from the worst revival of the year to potentially the best - and it may be a bit of a life saver for Seven. Suspect they might change how it's broadcast too - did think they'd power through two eviction cycles a week but they might drop that to one now if content is thinner on...

Episode Australian Survivor All Stars (2020) - Episode 23 Discussion

It's been a rather safe and boring series since merge with nobody taking the opportunity, so no surprise Brooke went. Sharn has had a pretty weak game IMO and has very little to boast about, but for Moana it'll depend on how well she can sell her game at the final tribal. I don't think she's...

Big Brother Canada ends season early due to COVID-19 developments

Expecting this weeks show to be very much the usual Veto proceedings then end with an announcement from Arisa about the end of the season. Agree the show has been in a bit of a creative drought - even in terms of theming they're just not taking it as far as they could. BBUSA has ironically...

    Big Brother 2020 has begun

It is basically following the US/Canadian format where they compete to become Head of House, that person nominates and then the remaining housemates vote on the nominee to evict. Usually evictees choose the winner but they've claimed that will be a public vote, but I suspect that could change...

    Big Brother 2020 has finished.

If they can get to a conclusion pre-recording it may be the best decision Seven ever made. Canada has now been pulled though so you'd think it's only a matter of time. I'd have thought though it couldn't have long to go and even though I suspect they're going through a "weekly cycle" twice a...

Big Brother Canada ends season early due to COVID-19 developments

It had to be done - surprised it lasted quite as long as it did and be interesting to see if others follow. A shame the producers didn't admit to themselves this was happening ahead of last Thursdays eviction. They could have gone ahead with that eviction then turned off the live feeds and...

    Big Brother 2020 has begun

BB Australia quite often did important announcements to the whole house in the diary room rather than on the sofas like most other versions do, so sounds like that has been carried over. Do think this now may end up debuting earlier if they can get it in the can before any inevitable lockdown...

    Big Brother 2020 has begun

Surprising how public they want to be about it not being live.

    Big Brother and Coronavirus

Australia may be in pre-record but for the rest of the world the shows are playing out live and most versions have opted to axe crowds, not send in any more housemates and now inform the housemates about the situation. Canada told them at the weekend, turning off the live feeds whilst they...

    Big Brother 2020 has begun

Hate TV Blackbox more than I hate Sonia Kruger. Ben is bloody annoying too. Regarding COVID-19, BB Canada did the responsible thing and shut down the live feeds whilst they told them, giving them messages from home to reassure them their families were OK. Meanwhile Big Brother Germany rather...

    Big Brother 2020 has begun

Exactly what I'd been saying up until the end of last week. I'm not worried too much about the actual virus but the policies being put in by governments seemingly unquestioned to supposedly control it, a policy which means my parents (one of whom is in a care home) may not see each other again...

    Big Brother 2020 has begun

Really hope so but here in the UK there is talk of a 4 month lock down for the over 70s. (Off topic but producers have now told the BB Canada housemates about it).

    Dancing with the Stars Australia

The Irish version has pulled it's final forward to tonights show without an audience rather than continuing the series (though think it only had a couple more weeks to run), so wonder if Ten might do the same, assuming the cast don't have to go into isolation.

    Big Brother 2020 has begun

The show without an audience isn't going to look anywhere near as out of place as it would have done a month or so now it's becoming the norm across the industry.

    BB Canada - Premiere's March 4th

Not to surprising but the eviction shows will have no live audience until further notice.
