BBAU 2025 house at Dreamworld Exhibition Centre

Also, full video tour from the house:

At least now I know not to waste my money on the VIP tour, if i want to seat on beds, i'll pop into Harvey Norman.
I'll do the free tour and see how bad the house is in person.

Paid BB House Tours/Experience evidently hasn't proved quite as popular as Dreamworld hoped. They have removed the 10:15 session and are only selling 11:15 now.

Some photos from the free tour on the 23rd.

Sorry but even the Seven era houses looked more solid and refined than the current house. Even with a visible rig, the Seven house still looked enclosed and less like a set/warehouse than this year’s does. (Not to mention the tour set-up seemed better prepared as well.)

Yeah I agree really. There was at least something above the lighting rig that wasn't just completely open to the roof though, by the look of it?

And that black walkway/corridor at the end was where HMs had to walk through to access two of the three DRs, IIRC. Those DRs really let it down because only the chair side was finished to look like a room. But you can't say these things broke the fourth wall when Seven's entire format and taping regime clearly did that. None of their version would have been anything remotely like living in an actual house.

I find it interesting they are looking to film more reality shows there. I mean there is a shortage of soundstages at the moment, but I can’t imagine how Ninja Warrior would fit? Lol

Here’s hoping regardless they book it out so BB can’t use it ;)

I also agree that as much as I hated the 7 houses long corridors, fabric covered camera runs and 3 diary rooms, I think visually and structurally they were produced 100% better than the painted MDF house of last year.

You've forgotten bouncy floors, and a bathroom that "looks like a Fitness First"?

Maybe there just is not as much interest in touring the Big Brother house as originally envisioned by Dreamworld?

It looks like due to the structures the houses were built in being different. Different approaches were used. Seven being more a 4 sided box built inside the giant tent. Ten is using the convention centre to suspend the roof rig. With the house being a topless box. With only sections with roofs built like a 4-sided box.

Hopefully, if they are looking at the possibility of hosting more productions, they will build something better suited and more versatile. Possibly in a less disruptive location.

I would assume most people who would visit the park would do the tour, even if you didn't watch the show. Maybe not pay for the extra VIP experience, but why wouldn't you have a look?

The ceiling clearance of the EC isn’t gonna cut it for any of the Ninja Warrior courses, unless they use that vacant plot of land south of the park and set up production spaces in the exhibition centre??

I don’t remember any of the networks announcing Ninja Warrior at upfronts, it’s not impossible but I’m wondering how it would fit in 7/9/10’s schedules for 2026 if it’s been picked up again..

The site just isn't big enough for Ninja Warrior and although many European versions film indoors it wouldn't make much sense for the Aussie version to do that. Also not even a rumour of it actually returning.
