Rewatch Big Brother 2004 YouTube stream (Aug 29 -30 + Sept 6-7)

Hopefully the speed of episodic uploads is not like 1 episode a day. I think those uploads of the older seasons on the official YouTube channel started at a full week's worth of episodes a day.

It’s important to note they’ve used AI to further enhance the picture quality on all the episodes they replaced during the original stream, due to the master tapes being damaged. 2004, in particular, had many damaged episodes. So these are all broadcast versions, not the masters.

P.S. I absolutely hate how they’re titling each video. They need to stop that asap.

 
Daily Show (Day 1). This episode was missing from the stream. Appears to be an AI upscaled version.

I agree, it reminds me of cheesy click bait. Just title it as it is: S4 | Ep 2 - Daily Show 1

It's a shame they didn't make an attempt to preserve the previous seasons at an earlier time. Maybe if they released the show on DVD originally, more of the older episodes would have survived.
 
I'm more pissed that, unlike the 2001-2003 playlists, they didn't start the playlist with clean version of the theme for the season.

I've wanted the 2004 theme for so long. And they promised it during the marathons too.
 
Makes no sense why they're spoon-feeding the season since the marathon videos are still available. People will just start with the uploads and then pivot to the marathons so that they don't have to wait for an individual upload.

Just dump them all and move on.
 
I loathe the way they are currently titling each episode. It makes no categorical sense. In addition to that, they’re also sorting the playlist from latest to newest so the episodes play in reverse.

I hate whoever has taken over the social media.

Can any user just change the order so it is viewed in the order of broadcast?
 
I think it's YouTube's default to have playlists sort their playback order from newest to oldest. I used to help manage a channel, and made a point of changing the playlist order back to oldest to newest whenever I created a new one.
