Young people need to get a start in their chosen career somewhere. In addition to the aforementioned live show crew, the social media and PR team (wearing lanyards) also appear to be babies.

Plus there was another big brother with a somewhat different voice at times & it didnt sound right hmmmmNext year, Big Brother needs to be clear. No more Mr Nice Guy. A bit of cheekiness is fine, but Christ Almighty, he can be a lot stricter than what we got this year. Question is, does Pete Cunningham even know how to be a strict BB? I recall him being the more gentle of the deputies back on Nine, and he was no better this season. Either make him stricter, or hire another voice who is capable of being strict.
None of them liked each other much always talking behind each other but interesting how rejected they all seem to be by the show once they were evicted. What a no show from nana Jane & the mighty Mia oh no dont put Mia next to the Holly we all know how much Holly couldnt stand Mia. Not the friendly show we had hoped for in the endNo, they weren’t asked to return. Only Holly was invited (and Ed and Conor by default, as they were there for the previous night’s live show).
None of them were featured anyway, they were all just relegated to watch from the last row of the crowd. lol
Coco wont see him again its in the stars she will be to busy for Bruce anyway. I heard his on his way down the Bruce highwayAgreed. It is hilarious to me that they tried to paint Bruce as a reformed abuser in the house. His parents letter saying he never acts that way and then the whole therapy talk. That prick will get vile again.he won't do the work. It's his nature.
Yes, but you'd expect them to shadow or be trained in the field and genre that they're working in. This goes back to the theory that this season was simply produced by production staff that only have experience on/with shows such as MAFS, Survivor and Love Island. It's been said before, Big Brother is an entirely different beast. It needs love from people with a more documentary-type of background.Young people need to get a start in their chosen career somewhere.
I don‘t wish to be cruel … but ….. he is not an attractive man.

Care to share then name so we can message her and ask her why the show was trash lol

If you ever get to speak to her again you should ask why they thought the new format they’re doing is considered passable.Haha well I don’t want a lynch mob on her! But I’ll give you some of her experience for context, she isn’t totally green but this is easily her biggest job. Her biggest production role previously was “we interrupt this broadcast” on channel 7.
Yeah i haven't seen it commented too much but having those constant screens with nominated and evicted on i wasn't much of a fan either.I hated how the housemate production pose clips (that are used looped on the stage screens for evictions/noms) were playing on their lounge screen in the house....wtf. It just blurs the lines too much and brings that production element into the house and to the conscious of the housemates. Like the exposed cameras do, like the studio lighting above/no ceiling. Were they instructed not to look up too much? Complete BS.

I think I can say that most of us will be curious of her response whenever you get the chance to plant the seedI am currently scheming how I can reconnect with her without going straight into BB stuff so I sound like a curious friend rather than a disgruntled fan randomly messaging a long lost acquaintance. This might be a long play but I will try plant the seed soon.
I think the idea that HMs on Big Brother aren't aware they're on TV is pure fiction but agree the screen just isn't a good aesthetic. A memory wall can be done much better.Yeah i haven't seen it commented too much but having those constant screens with nominated and evicted on i wasn't much of a fan either.
If the visible cameras werent bad enough then things like those screens with all housemates on them would remind them theyre on TV. Hopefully both go as part of the fixes needed if BB is actually returning.
True. Mere ad-hoc changes won’t achieve much. The issue with this reboot goes much deeper. Yes hiding the cameras removes the blatant reminder they’re on a tv show, but the short run, ability to communicate with outsiders in the garden, to name a few things, just amplify it. It’s going to be numerous changes (or reverting back to the old tried and true methods) that are going to make the show work again. There is no one stop shop solution that’s going to fix it.I think the idea that HMs on Big Brother aren't aware they're on TV is pure fiction but agree the screen just isn't a good aesthetic. A memory wall can be done much better.
I also think the short time frame means they never let their guard down - the HMs will always act more naturally in the "middle" stage of the show when they're most immersed in the experience but at 4 weeks there was no "middle'.
Ultimately every change should make a difference. Change the editing the show improves. Change the love shows the show improves. Change the live stream censorship the show improves.
If you change none of that but hide the cameras and remove HMs pictures from the screen the show does not improve.
I would use your super fandom status as an excuse to initiate contact. Say something along the lines of “I just finished watching BB I was so happy to see the show back and filmed live. And then I noticed you had been working on it, that’s sooooo cooooool. I just wanted to reach out and congratulate you …..”.I am currently scheming how I can reconnect with her without going straight into BB stuff so I sound like a curious friend rather than a disgruntled fan randomly messaging a long lost acquaintance. Maybe if I win Division 1 in the lotto lol.I wish there was some super rich BB mega fan/s that would invest a shit load into the show to make it near the same budget it used to be cause I don’t think it’ll ever get close. In saying that I still did enjoy aspects of the season mainly having the live stream back. I just love watching people interact. It was fun. It won’t last beyond another 2 seasons as it is though, I am confident in that. And I don’t believe that they will make any major upgrades. Oh well back to my bingeing season 4!

Of course be positive, not a forum jerk lol. She probably has an outward professional shell but maybe willing to leak a few of her disappointments.
