Coco seems to be their second favourite "sweet young mum with three kids (not sure if she's mentioned that?)". If she wins the $125k she'll spend half on weed and surfboards and probably just blow the rest. I kinda like her though, she'd been fun at parties. She can let her kids roam free in the back yard. I'm good with that.
I feel like the strategy is to choose 1or 2 people they think they can make loveable/tell a compelling story with, and try to get them to the finale/ win to keep ratings high all the way through. Maybe audiences are more likely to return if they are happy with the winner and feel like it was deserved.
The problem is they now try to create narratives around their favourites, instead of casting likeable HMs we fall in love with organically. They didn't need to create stupid romance arcs for Reggie or Sara Marie. And nor should they.

And yet, if anyone can damage the "family show" brand, it's a winner like Colin (or maybe Coco, who knows) being let loose on the world and ending up in the tabloids for being arrested. Emily would be the safe, wholesome choice.
I feel like there’ll be backlash if Colin wins tbh. That just seems like a very risky play to put their bets on someone who is polarising and seems generally disliked. I would prefer Bruce to win over the little runt

Has anyone got receipts for Holly's neurodivergence being directly weaponised by the other HM's? As in clear and inarguable examples of ableism? Because that's what this mess is trying to deflect with now (note that they're using a clip from an aggressively pro-Holly account)
Agree, but in saying that - I think this 'shortened' BB worked a lot better than 7's shortened season. 20 housemates in 39 days/21 episodes, with 4 lasting <5 days, was RIDICULOUS. Speaking for myself here, but at least this time I feel like I got to know who each HM was.4 weeks of BB is just nuts. It just doesn't work. Its like the moment it starts, its finishing
I do sort of agree, in the first three seven seasons the norm was 18-20 housemates at one time for the first week or so, which is craziness. 13 worked a lot better for this cast, but it needed at least 4 more weeks and definitely some intruders,

My question seems to have gotten lost in my long post, but maybe someone here knows. Did they end up winning the coffee machine for the house or did that just get forgotten about with the singing task midway through a session? Then Coco completely forgot about that half made cup of java she was preparing for Bruce

They did win it, but then they lost the shopping task and couldn't buy coffee beans.

I completely missed that. So easy to miss in such a mundane episode. This forum is far more entertaining
(other than boring negative hate posts hahahah)
People have been complaining BB isn't mean enough this season, but for this he definitely had a dark sense of humour at least. $50 coffee.
