Episode Day 15 Eviction Show - 23/11/2025

The best thing to come from tonight’s eviction is Jane’s video message - and Vinnie absolutely spiralling and going into damage control as a result. Based on his meltdown on the stream, tonight is his undoing. Even if it doesn’t get shown on tomorrow’s Daily Show, there’s a high chance he’ll get nominated anyway.

He really is spiraling and it’s great to see haha

Most people will still vote for him. Like anyone would really care 😆

TikTok is saying otherwise from what I’ve seen. When he turned to the camera tonight to speak directly to Jane/Australia to defend himself… if he gets evicted soon I feel he’ll blame Jane, but I think he’s forgetting most of us already clocked him a while ago. There’s so many TikToks of him from the live streams going viral calling out shady things he’s said and done so far.

Those complaining were never voting for him anyway. TikTok is a small minority of voters. Same with any of these people posting on social media networks.

Honestly, the Daily Show content is the only thing that matters where the most eyes will be seen. Which is why I’d still have Colin as the favourite to win at this point.

Hey everyone,
Long time lurker (loonnggg time, even back when there was a Podcast... that podcast with Peter Abbot was iconic and lives in my head free... would love to get my hands on it?)

ANYWAY I was at the live show tonight and thought I would share my perspective.

I got there early, and it was so sunny and hot, so I walked down the road to the local pub for a few glasses of chardonnay before the show lol. Anyway, got back and there was quite a lineup. Was really hot and barely a cloud in the sky in the arvo.

We went in. Mike doing warm up. Same old Mike really. Mel came out and looks absolutely gorgeous. As the show went on, clouds started to roll in and I was just expecting to get wet. We were all told to leave even before it had rained but there was heavy clouds + lightening. We were moved into the "Main Street" area... which, funnily enough, is under cover, has ample space and even a stage set up which could deffs be repurposed for evictions every Sunday.

We waited around and a guy from Dreamworld told us that there was lightening less than 4km from Dreamworld, and that all Dreamworld operations have to stop when that happens, even rides etc (except the house I guess?)... Makes me wonder if we had the old amphitheatre, if it also would have caused the show to stop? They said they were hoping the lightening was going to pass so we could go back in. While we waited, there was no screens so we had no idea what was happening, but some people were watching on their phones so we were getting updates as it went to air. Mike came out a while later, with a microphone... this area also has a microphone. Dreamworld staff (and some hot security guards lol) told us that we could leave, but said it was relatively unsafe and advised to wait and that there would be staff + security until it was safe to leave. Some people left but most hung around. I had an uber booked for 7:30 (8:30 SYD time) so I left then.

All in all it was a fun night but a shame it ended. Just rewatched it, what a mess, but I think Mel handled it extremely well considering. I really liked Mel presenting from the front door - I think it is a missed opportunity for them to not include the fan pit/front door. Would be fab to see Mel collect the housemates from the front door with fan pit crowd, and walk them through to the main stage (Davina style).

Also, the stage + eviction area looks way less cheap IRL which surprised me haha.

Edit: Oh also Reggie was there again and Farmer Dave, who were also relocated into the Main Street area.

Watching on delay, but first: Mega long recap at the start but no opening titles???? Why not????????? 😦

OK so they showed it after the ad break. Hmmm.
What's this I hear.... BB theme under the voting graphic? 😍 Finally - it only took two weeks!

Its so weird that the live shows don't have Mel outros/intros randomly when going to/coming back from a break.
The less the better, IMO. When it comes to daily show type segments I don't think we need Mel.

Mike VO: "...giving the housemates a moment to enjoy life in the Big Brother house" *immediately proceeds to show Dreamworld ride and housemates speaking to the outside world*. Yep... they went there. 🙄

OK this Mel live house cross from the entry hallway is something different. The longer they stick to this shot makes me think it wasn't planned and the rain forced their hand. Shame about the unnecessary backing music. I think this could work well if they have Mel walk over to the house entry to meet that night's evictee exiting the house, but then they both should go to the main stage (with an ad break inbetween).

Why is the envelope so comically large?
Any bigger and it could double as a roof!

If they're doing it like this, it ABSOLUTELY should have been "choose ANY housemate to evict".

That would've an actual twist.
Please tell me EndemolShine has a copy of your resume...

Also HAHAHAHA the live phone call dropped out 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. This 2nd eviction segment is major awwwwkward 🫤.

I think the eviction shows should go for an extra 20-30 minutes. They need to run from 7-8:30 at least!
For sure. Also if they ran the daily show as a daily show without the live inserts, then that would leave extra time during the actual eviction portion...

I think the issue is the producers at the Endemol end are trying to do MAFS / Love Island product that they have worked on. You need someone who will do BB as BB and not a mesh of the other formats that came after.
It is so obvious. They think that because Survivor in a warehouse was badly received that the answer is to shoehorn other reality formats - NO. The sooner EndemolShine start treating Big Brother like Big Brother the better.

I always liked the Davina intros to the daily show segments and I think Mel could do well with that same format if the live components (including scripting) were better. She has a magnetic personality and should be our "guide" to the house, but sadly she's being under-utilised.

It's literally a recap of the entire season two weeks.
It was actually quite a good edit. I enjoyed that.
I love it how they’re making Jane out like all she talks about is the boys farting.
That's all I remember her saying on the show actually lol.

I'm just watching and reading the forums, so forgive me for being late. I'm loving the big crowds, they're getting bigger and bigger and more enthusiastic. They are bringing back the old times. First night there was barely anyone there to cheer, just rent-a-crowd / family members.
Lana: "Do you know what I'm talking about?"

Holly: "No"

Wow.
That's actually a very good point. EXPOSED.

I quoted some posts along the way while I was reading, but forgot to hit "reply", so I'm back to missing a whole bunch of noteworthy posts to reply to.

One thing that should be said that though everyone is hating this season, hating the f*ckups (i'm loving them), it is bringing community back. People are watching the live streams. People are talking about it. They're even showing up to be there a part of the live action, even from the rides at Dreamworld lol. I feel like we're onto something good, and that the current crew will be excited to do better next year in the things that have clearly failed. This is not a terrible season. There are some good elements in it, and it is engaging. This forum hasn't been this busy in a long, long time. And I dig that.

Funny enough I thought the daily show portion content they chose was actually great and for the first time, I don’t think I was bored during any of it.

I mean to be fair, I actually thought the twist wasn’t bad. I don’t know if it was really fair though, when there were only three nominees. If they had maybe 4/5 nominees, and those with the most were safe and viewer got to choose from the next lowest two after the evictee, prob would’ve been much fairer.
I mean if it was an actual producer though, I would’ve thought they would’ve saved Mia, Alannah doesn’t really bring much to the show imo. Although it might have been a bad look having the three oldest kicked out first.

I mean Mel outside the house didn’t look as bad as I thought, maybe could’ve kept some fans behind her for some sort of a vibe and just not shown her to the house.
