That was an absolute hatchet job! Let’s hope they get their shit together by next week.
Ok yes I do have to agree. I just wanted them to sit and have a chat about it all. Even Sonia got to have couch time! An eviction shouldn't be as short as a news interview.I agree with your general comment. However, Mel got a fair bit of goss out of Michael in the limited time allowed for his interview.
I agree with the fact that they need to be transparent as they were in the OG era - that is definitely a dumb miss on their part, I was more so talking to the fact that I think this was the correct outcome based on my observations and the way vote to save works.It's not the point.
It also adds to the theory that these evictions are predetermined. Seven didn't show the graph for free votes either.
Poll on the BBAU Insta story asks who you voted to save. Results;
Holly 42%
Jane 38%
Michael 20%
Maybe people confused the vote? How else could Holly be so high? It’s not like she’s 07 Emma and is highly polarising.
I saw someone in here earlier last week saying that people had admitted to mixing up eviction and save and had accidentally been voting to save Holly. Don’t know if that’s still the case or not thoughPoll on the BBAU Insta story asks who you voted to save. Results;

I think the conflicts between Jane and Holly kept them in this week tbh, sure it creates division but it drives viewers to take a side. Michael didn't have a moment like that this week which would've allowed for people to take his sideMaybe people confused the vote? How else could Holly be so high? You good sir have nailed it more than Michael turning on the Looking Now function at Surfers Paradise tonight.I really would have preferred the show to run like this instead:
19:00-19:05 - Introductions on stage, building suspense, gauging live audience reactions
19:05-19:12 - What happened between Fri-Sun afternoon part 1
19:12-19:15 - Back to Mel on stage, remind audience to vote, cut to ad break
[Ad Break]
19:20-19:27 - What happened between Fri-Sun afternoon part 2
19:27-19:30 - Back to Mel on stage, last call to vote, 10 minutes until lines close.
19:30-19:32 - Rehashing nominations and key moments which led up to nominations
[Ad Break]
19:37 - 19:40 - Mel chats to the housemates
19:40 - Lines are closed, clip packages of all 3 nominees
19:45 - It's time to go.
[Ad Break]
19:51 - 20:00 - Interview, evictee highlight packages
[Ad Break]
20:05 - 20:10 - Interview cont, showing who nominated the evictee, initial reactions
20:10 - 20:12 - Show concludes, suspense driven for live nominations.
[Finish]
Hmmm interesting, sucks that you have to see that on Instagram tho. And even then it’s not the actual resultPoll on the BBAU Insta story asks who you voted to save. Results;

Sucks that it’s asking people to say who they voted for and not actually giving the result thoughHmmm interesting, sucks that you have to see that on Instagram tho. And even then it’s not the actual resultI don’t have IG so having it on the show is best

Soooo many people hey - one of the top comments I saw on a TikTok reel was someone saying they didn’t know they voted to save instead of evict and so many people saying they voted to save Holly thinking they were getting rid of herI saw someone in here earlier last week saying that people had admitted to mixing up eviction and save and had accidentally been voting to save Holly. Don’t know if that’s still the case or not though
That doesn't particularly surprise me - Michael probably a bit high if anything.Poll on the BBAU Insta story asks who you voted to save. Results;

It’s not really about this specific eviction. We want the voting graph because it’s tradition, it gives us insight in to how people are voting, and because they have the info - why not share it.I know everyone wants to see a graph but honestly I just don’t think with the viewing audience that Michael would’ve garnered enough votes to beat Holly. As annoying as it is this feels correct. If it was vote to evict, the story would be very different.
"A tiktok reel" lmaoSoooo many people hey - one of the top comments I saw on a TikTok reel was someone saying they didn’t know they voted to save instead of evict and so many people saying they voted to save Holly thinking they were getting rid of herwhat a mess
