What is the point of these shows being live if it’s 90% daily show footage? Mel being out on the stage is adding absolutely nothing.

100%. They need to separate it into a daily show followed by live show.

I think it's just how 'modern' seasons of Big Brother are put together now, its not exclusive to BBUK
