I just had a sobering moment. I immediately clicked 20-29 without thinking, then realised I am in fact midway through the next category up.
Well I knew I'd get some 100+ votes but left it in anyway.
And didn't make it public to protect

Having to click on the 40-49 as someone who hit 40 this year was not fun....I'm in the best shape I've been in since I was probably 23 or so though. Age is just a number!

I am 37 so my entire teenage years corresponded with each of the original seasons. My impression of this place was that it’s on average quite millennial. In my head the voting is going to be pretty spread out across generations and not mainly teens. Maybe it was back in the day.

I work as a teacher, but am semi-retired, all my students are older, let's say average about age 22. None have been talking about the show, and feel they are barely aware that the show exists. So I have no idea who the voting demographic might be.I just hope Holy doesn't have a huge "following" to help her survive.

58 here ... and I've loved, and kind of been addicted to, BB since it first aired here in AU in 2001.
I recall the hype of that first season when everybody was talking about it ... in the office, on the train, in the bus, at school and it was in the newspapers and all over the news. It was huge. These days, whenever I mention to anybody that I watch BB, I generally get "WTF" type comments. Thank heck for BBBA because BB wouldn't be the same for me without being able to share my thoughts and compare notes and opinions with other people about the show.

The show has won its timeslot in the 16-39 demo every night, so there are young people watching, I am sure the Tiktok stream specifically has attracted extra viewers to the show.
So there are younger people watching just not as young as the housemates think.
I'd be sure the TikTok stream attracts a lot more under 20s than this old school website, with only two in the poll so far.
We always used to joke about the teenybopper girls controlling the vote in the OG era, as evidenced by the live eviction audiences. But as someone else said here recently Big Brother is not considered cool. Probably fair.
