Episode Day 4 Daily Show and Nominations - 12/11/2025

Estelle doesn’t have the record for nomination points in a round.

Charne got 22 in the first week of 2012 whereas Estelle got 19 in week 6. Both instances the girls were nominated by 7 people. Keeping in mind tho when charne got nominated only girls could receive points.

In 2004 Igor got 17 points in week 1 from 10 different housemates. I’m pretty sure he is the technical record holder by being nominated by the most “people” in a week. Not even tahan and Camilla were ever nominated by that many people in a week.
For Igor wasn't it still 2 points /1 point? If it had been a 5 point system he'd have blown the others out of the water.

Exactly. So Igor’s could have been 27 points if they used 3-2 for nominations that week. 7 people also nominated him for 2 points so if it were 4 points used against him that’s already 28 points not even including those who only gave him 1 point. So I guess really Igor is the record holder.

I think to save confusion, we can do with:

1)
Original Format: Igor (17)
New Format: Charne (22)

or

2)
1. Charne (22)
2. Holly (21)
3. Igor (17)

Just re-watching the Nominations segment from last night's episode and, I'm sorry to say, but I feel as though Mel - and a live show in general - was completely redundant last night. The episode could've worked a lot better - and left more time for Daily Show content (and the dinner argument) - had everything just been packaged into one complete Daily Show. It would've flowed even better. If they really wanted to do the nominee announcement live, they can still just cut to the house at the very end of the episode - exactly like they did in 2001.

I love love Mel and what she's bringing to the show but so far they're not actually giving her much, or anything, to work with. There was no real point to having her and a live audience last night...

Especially when they don’t even cut back to her on stage after the ad break?!?!

as much as I love the daily show I do wish they added more context on certain things
Definitely. It's also a problem with nominations and voting to evict so soon with the short format. The people on the daily show aren't the same people we see on the live streams. Events lack so much context.
This. It's one of my main concerns abut the Daily Shows right now.

I'd prefer the intimate live shows of OG BB when Gretel was in a small set and the audience were seated at tables, almost cafe style. They should do that again, with guests and extra house footage. But I think they've completely cheaped out this season. Having Mel on the main stage for no actual reason seems weird and redundant.

Yeah. I think they need to seriously consider extending the length of the live episodes, so there’s more balanced time split between recaps from the house and stage content. This is going to be particularly relevant for Evictions, which I can already tell is going to be nothing like we anticipate it to be.

Maybe not the best example, cause this is from Gretel's walk-in, and not the final presenting position, but you get the gist.

Oh I have already anticipated evictions being so stripped back as to be unrecognisable from the golden era. No friends or family etc. We never even got a hint of them at the launch so I expect more of that.

Bruce legit said the same thing, when they never cut to them or spoke to them about the noms he was like what is the point of people coming for a live show. I am shocked the never muted that on the buffer of the stream

I’m just watching the nominations and I feel I didn’t get enough in the daily show. I wish they would do the daily show, then follow with an hour nomination segment like they used to do.

I’m absolutely loving the new host. And the cast chosen. I think they will be a great bunch to critique and criticise lol.

Omg, the silver fox has it going on. He’s like sex on a stick… the geriatric version. I bet he’s worth every viagra tab he drops! Lol! My least favourite is Piss in my Arse. He’s a shit stirrer. That said I really want him to stay coz he’s gonna grind some gears. I like Colin but…. The way he snivels and bros and slides himself all over Holly has me gagging. And brah, put on some fucking pants! You ain’t got bluge bro.

To channel my inner Colin, I think Holly is goneski cum Eviction Night brah. They’re gonna need to send in Kleenex in bulk for poor Col. He’s gonna be fucking hysterical!

I do have a question, how long does the series go for?
