BBAU 2025 house in Dreamworld Exhibition Centre

I mean as soon as I saw the hallway a few days ago I thought it’s giving itv but I didn’t want to judge too quick
As soon as this reboot was announced last year I thought it was giving ITV. It’s kind of heading in a similar direction (in terms of a short run and similar house design, etc). I suspected Ten were going to use the new ITV iteration as a blueprint, with some of our own Aus touches, and so far I do still think that’s the case.

I just hope they don’t edit and cast the same way otherwise game over

But yeah it does seem they’re using it as a blueprint
In that sense, I do think the AU team have a different mindset for the direction they’ll want to take things regarding content and editing, etc. I believe they know there’s a lot riding on this revival and, for this first season at least, they’ll want to play it safe / stick to their word / retain as much of the OG-ness as possible.

The aesthetic and overall season template - given what they have to work with - might be a different story though. We’ll have to wait and see.

Oh god, so looks like there’s two hallways, one to backyard, one to bedrooms/dr/bathroom I’m gonna assume.

Or DR could be in that space to the right of kitchen, that big gap, to the right of store room.

Jebus the pool is less then 3m in diameter.

I don't think it's common to plasterboard over window openings before cutting them out though. Wastes plasterboard. But ceilings would still be nice though, I was wondering about that myself but I feel like the budget might be an issue here.

I was just thinking this!

Also I hope there aren't too many long hallways like a certain other TV network 😯. And will they add a suspended ceiling or leave it exposed...
I’m actually worried they won’t do a ceiling!! Looking at the UK Timelapse they did their ceilings first! I think we may get another “set” setup like Sevens first house . Has Amelia Fisk all over it 😠
UK build

Also these angled roof windows look familiar?!

Looking at it, the house does look ITV coded, but given how the roof of the Exhibition Centre is, it wouldn't surprise me if the ceiling is completely flat.

Also, seeing a lack of camera runs makes me thing they're going for the Filipino BB thing of no camera runs and probably slapping mirrors on all the walls.

In its raw chipboard layout even I’m seeing ITV. Apparently curves are a thing now for this format. I hope the decor isn’t too gawdy. That pool hardly seemed worth the effort it took to get it craned in.

The lack of obvious camera runs is certainly interesting. Does this mean several dozen robo cameras just affixed to the walls and on display? Big Brother without mirrors almost sounds illegal.

No camera runs isn’t unheard of for BB houses and was pioneered by BB Germany. Strange that they don’t have a proper roof which cheapens the entire design and feels unfinished. As for the comments about “ITV” it’s really just the archways which I hope aren’t going to be as colourful.

Surely they are going to put a ceiling in
There must be a ceiling that's going to be installed. If they don't it would allow interior noise to carry, such as from the diary room. There will also be production staff working around the perimeter, especially when tasks are being set up. BB ceilings feature heavy lighting fixtures so maybe that's why they're going in later? Wild guess though, but no ceiling is very odd.
