Yeah this season is widely (amongst the BB community) considered to be the worst. I think when people declare the show to be boring they are thinking of this season. Underwhelming cast and nothing much hapoened.
Next weekend will be epic!

I’m in the process of moving house so I don’t have a lot of time or the correct facilities to be able to have this play in the background even, but bb2 is my least favourite season of BBAU.

Hopefully you will be finished by next weekend!!? Assuming they will keep this up.
Absolutely agree. If they stop at 2003 streams ill be fine with it. 1-3 are the worst captures that we have.
And CBB! I’ll be shouting it from the rooftops til we get that, too.

Well they did say they had big plans for ALL of the original seasons. So I guess we’ll have to wait.
It was great to rewatch 2001 again, it’s probably the season I rewatch bits and pieces of again the most. Whereas 2002 is one I tend to avoid looking it.
Idk the whole Jess and Marty thing doesn’t really appeal to me, nor the Peter storyline. Tbh I remember more of Turkan being friends with Peter than I do anything Peter did.

From memory I did like him, that week he spearheaded failing the task on purpose was his undoing if I’m remembering right. I liked his friendship with Jess and Marty, IMO the season dies when he leaves.Nathan although having his funny moments drives me up the wall
Those final weeks of daily shows are not great viewing. Although the addition of the nominations show was a massive positive! BBAU made great use of the host in comparison to other versions.
In my opinion, Peter was always the most boring and least deserving winner from the original Ten series. At least from the perspective of what he brought to the show. It’ll come across insensitive to some, and I absolutely don’t undermine the tragedy of it all, but I do believe his story about losing his parents and having to look after his siblings is all that got him over the line. He was terrible as a HM - the epitome of coining the term “under the radar” - and I vividly recall him actively going out of his way to avoid confrontation or doing…anything. Deserved the money, sure. Deserved the win, absolutely not. But then again, the same can be said for a lot of the BBAU winners, to be honest. Most of them actually.Idk the whole Jess and Marty thing doesn’t really appeal to me, nor the Peter storyline. Tbh I remember more of Turkan being friends with Peter than I do anything Peter did.
Of-course there’s also Ryan winning 2014, but that’s a whole other kettle of fish…

hard agree. He’s probably last on my winner rankings. It’s very sad what happened and although a heartfelt and interesting story his narrative doesn’t go any further. Apart from his friendship with Turkan he has no arc, no development or anything worth diving into.In my opinion, Peter was always the most boring and least deserving winner from the original Ten series.
If I had to rank the winners from the TEN era:
1st Reggie (kind of goes here by default)
2nd Aleisha (a very strong winner narratively)
3rd Jamie (not as apparent but did contribute)
LARGE GAP
4th Trevor (likeable but no storyline)
5th Ben (fine if anything but nothing special)
6th Greg (kind of hot but uninteresting)
EVEN LARGER GAP
7th Terri (rigged)
HUGE GAP
8th Peter (dull, boring and unmemorable.
Ben Norris would probably rank just under Aleisha whilst Tim for me personally would be either 2nd or 3rd and Ryan would probably be just above Jamie.
Channel 7 winners are not allowed on my list…

Katrina mentioning that goldfish a lot in that housebites package. They'll probably be past it by the time I drop back in but the 'Looming task' I think comes up soon, I remember it causing a like a mini craze for a week and you saw Looming kits popping up in those Whats New type novelty shops with 'as seen on Big Brother' stickers on them Iirc. Lol.

It’s always been apparent to me that I tend to remember more of the early weeks/early boots of the season more so than those who went far.Katrina mentioning that goldfish a lot in that housebites package. I remember Damian’s iconic dad Chan! I remember Katrina and her really cringeworthy obsession with the loom task (I think she also might be one of the most nominated housemates on record in terms of number of points?) I even remember Aaron bursting out of the bedroom lockdown because he needed to got to the toilet and had a huge argument with Shannon about it.
The only thing I remember about Sahra is she worked at McDonald’s and was a lesbian. Or bi? Idk. At least Marty was cute.

Terri is, without a doubt, one of the most fraudulent and fixed winners I’ve ever seen on Australian TV. It becomes so blatantly apparent when the season is binge-watched, too. To be honest, I can’t believe the producers’ manipulation didn’t get investigated.

the celebrity one is the worst. It's so bad it's almost comical. They NEED to post that one as well. 2004-2014 seasons are still on dailymotion in very decent quality. The person running the account confirmed they'll be posting 04, 05 seasons and beyond...If they stop at 2003 streams ill be fine with it. 1-3 are the worst captures that we have.

Yeah on a binge it’s almost insulting to watch it. The constant propping her up not only in the edit but also in live shows. I still do not understand how they were able to get away with showing the %s in the finale. I know Rory isn’t the most likeable person but he was outwardly cheated out of his win.We have very similar opinions on this.

At least with the Aleisha vs Zach reveal prior to lines closing the result didn’t change as it was pretty clear before hand.
The 2005-2007 seasons have sooo many episodes - I’ll be very impressed if they do fully commit to sticking it out.the celebrity one is the worst. It's so bad it's almost comical. Though, I’m still not convinced we won’t see episodes being edited, censored or completely cut as they get into the later seasons. But here’s hoping.

11th Logan Twins (utterly infuriating result) just my opinion, probably nobody agrees with it but ah well lol
