I noticed that too. I suppose back in the day you would not have seen that on the old TV boxes.

Johnnie is the first gay person I ever recall seeing on TV.

It really is inspiring to watch him and I find fascinating the time capsule of an out gay man in 2001 as I was just a kid back then.

But I feel bad that he got a “villain” edit on the show all because he was hugging the person he nominated for eviction afterwards and viewers thought that made him a backstabber. It was a pretty low bar for a “villain” in the reality TV world back then.

Sharna being the old one at 34 is sending me.

I am obsessed with Sharna for some reason. I don’t know what it is, but I just enjoy watching her. And her reaction to being nominated always amuses me.

It’s kinda wild to see how much Gretel grew to resent her position as host compared to how happy and genuinely engaged in the show she seemed to be in 2001.

Gretel in 2007 would not have laughed off stacking it, she’d be fuming.

I don’t believe I saw any BB07 moments in the promo either, I think it boils down to bb08 not really having any memorable moments, same with 07

I'm sure 10 is going to do all of the series that aired on their network. Ideally we'll get 2013 at some point - probably the best one that aired outside of 10 and recently the most memorable.

I wonder how long it'll be before they're uploaded to playlists - can't do the math there.

Putting the content out for free with no ads means 10 aren’t directly profiting off the series which I would assume releases them from any potential liability.

I work Friday-Monday so I'm going to miss a lot of this but thankfully I rewatched them all not a long long time ago so its still kind of all fresh in my mind. But wow this is so amazing. We have a 24/7 virtual watch party!

Yes I have rewatched them in recent times too, would be so epic if this was the first time seeing it since it aired but it was still pretty cool knowing others were watching it at the same time and also experiencing nostalgia. Not something I ever expected to happen!

I know it's a throwback to 2001 but just to confirm it's no longer 2001! Even Channel 10 have stopped using video tapes now!

Appreciate the inclusion of the 10 second countdown between episodes - guessing that wasn't seen on air at the time

I believe it's a 40 hour livestream of 64 tapes, but once it's over, they'll be cleaning them up and posting them in to playlists.
