Strange. Did you change your mind about all this? Anyway increased police powers should be a concern for every citizen even beyond covid.
 
What are your thoughts of the defund the police concept talked about during the BLM marches in 2020?
 
It's a good idea that should be explored further. Unfortunately it will never happen because too many people are entranced by authority.
 
I was thinking, although I'm sure there are some police who loved fining people for going 100 m outside their exercise zone (milgram experiment types) there must be some police officers who are not a fan of this over policing because it leads to mistrust in the community. Especially when much more serious matters occur.
