Love Island Australia - Coming to 9Go & 9Now

Is there a 'tall man syndrome"? Thinking they are better than others due to their lofty perspective?

Seems so...not every tall person, but some

Tall man syndrome
Height and other specialness factors can lead someone to feel that he or she is above others in all ways. I am better than you, and I am generally right. When your viewpoint differs from mine, what you say, think, or would like therefore must be wrong so I react to what you say with dismissal or disparagement.

Tall man syndrome also creates a feeling of being above the rules that everyone else is expected to follow.

...
seeing yourself as too special, too entitled to special privileges, and too above everyone else can be debilitating in an opposite way. Being too high on yourself invites relationship and marriage problems.

Perhaps the tall man syndrome accounts for why the folks who look most physically attractive often turn out to have difficulties sustaining long-term love relationships.

And this is CASSIDY
tall man syndrome
Used to describe behavior of a sexist woman that discriminates against men that are not of a certain height. The actual height is not of issue, but more important is her attitude toward men based solely on the mans height.
She has a mental disorder known as "Tall man syndrome"; she only dates men that are much taller than her.

I knew a almost 7 footer years ago, my sister and i measured a a chair for the right difference.
Standing up there and looking around, the world looks different - and you can never blend in with a crowd

Don't forget to take a look at the original, coming to us tonight from UK
Do we stay here and chat? Or start a new thread???

I vote stay here, and my sweep pick is Dr Alex.
I love the UK one, it is funnier, and has a bigger budget so they go out more and do more fun stuff
And they seem exotic with all the different accents and voices

I think Dom will be there tomorrow (if there is a Final 3).

They need someone to keep Eden's temper under control and Dom is fulfilling the role just fine.

Ooooooooooo LOOK

That problem solved, just evict E/E first

In less than a week, Eden and Erin have gone from being Sportsbet's odds-on favourites to win the show's $50,000 prize, to rank outsiders ($4).

Only newcomers Dom Thomas and Shelby Bilby have worse odds ($5.50), while Josh Moss and Amelia Plummer ($3.40) and Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp ($2.30) are considered more likely to win.

We all know why that won't happen.

They are hoping for a Grant/Tayla and Eden/Erin final 2. It won't suit the show to get rid of E/E at the moment.

From the looks of it if they rig it for Erin and Eden to win, they won't have anybody watching their show next year. So it may be in their best interests to put Erin and Edin in the final but not to let them win.

I think you are right about that.

I predict they will probably get rid of J&A tonight so that Dom can keep control of Eden if he were to get aggressive. Then I think D&S will be next eliminated. Followed by the E's.

Latest betting is even better:)

WINNING COUPLE ODDS
Contestants tipped as the final couple (as of Wednesday)

Grant and Tayla: $1.60

Can I please suggest that people start a different thread if they are watching another countries version of Love Island.
I won't ever be watching any other version and imo it would make it too confusing and cluttered to discuss it in here. Thanks :)

No one is rigging anything.

Good choice. I am pretty sure that Ali's version of The Bachelorette will be much better than the UK version.

It will be spectacular. So spectacular that after Queen Ali's season has finished they will stop producing these dating shows because they will realise that they could have another season as awesome as hers.

Matty J's season of the Bachelor set the bar too high for these other dating shows. His season was the best but I feel Ali's will be even better.

I am just glad that the Australian public could read what Millie is really like. Very happy that she was eliminated last night.

Ok, catching up...

Poor Grant. Taylor was extremely harsh on him. Eden is the aggressive one and half the island can't see it, and he even has Taylor fooled which is freaking frustrating. Eden is not a good person.

Dom. Jesus Shelby isn't the smartest. If everything Dom said was labelled a lie then it's safe to say the lie detector isn't being accurate and Dom was no doubt just too nervous. Also, I am not convinced it was a proper lie detector they were hooked up to.

Bwahahaha...good work to whoever threw the "Is Millie attractive? " question to Eden. I think the reason Erin doesn't like Millie is because she feels threatened by her.

WHY ARE THE COUPLES DECIDING WHO IS GOING HOME????

Ok so GRAYLA for the win.
