Yes, his steak was undercooked, but what was all that guff about it being a crime that Chloe was the only one who didn't respect the meat? She minced it in a simple dish, Brendan at least tried something complex.
Why is it ok for the meat to be raw sometimes,but not others?

I'm gutted. He was so genuine in what he was saying, it wasn't fluff. We need more Brendan's in this world, and less Big Red's and Chloe's
 
...what really shits me about Masterchef is that each and every year we live in the ridiculous hope that Channel 10 will keep Gary and Georges dicks in their pants and each and every year we begin to watch it with that hope dashed by about the second week in because we see Gary and George's almost predatory circling's of the pretty young things in the cooking trials start to go into full swing... we see the ways that they eventually hone in the usually 'prettiest' young things and then hang around them like love lorn flies hanging around shit each and every year... NOTHING EVER CHANGES...

...surely we on these forums aren't the only ones seeing this behaviour?...don't the Channel 10 execs even watch this show?... surely they can see it?... don't they read Social Media?... obviously they don't read our posts on here because they would likely be in shock if they did... I just cannot believe that nobody else are not seeing this... the fact that Brendan really is a good cook (but lacks breasts) and yet Chloe and Big Red are still there just confirms this behaviour to us all yet again...

...how about next year they only have males on the show just to see how it all plays out without Gary and Georges peckers going up and down all of the time?... and that they would have to actually judge them on their cooking abilities alone?... it would be quite the novel interesting experiment methinks?... Gary and George would have to actually earn their money for a change... anyhow... there's no point in me continuing to carry on about it is there?... nobody from Channel 10 reads these posts so what's the point eh?... lol!... cheers.

I get it. But I love the show. I am torn as a woman who watches the show and loves the contestants. I have no issue with Matt Preston's behaviour. George is iffy but I get his intent and it is not the same as Gary's intent. The way Gary treats women is really uncomfortable. And that is a hard thing for a woman to say when he has the power in the relationship

...I had no idea of who he was delcan but I feel for you sweet lady... I read the article and obviously he was quite a great man... I am dreading the day that my all time living hero Paul McCartney dies... I will be feeling the same as you are now... especially seeing that I saw him Live in concert just a few months back... I still mourn to this day the passing of Robin Williams and also Robin Gibb... seeing my heroes like Astronauts/Musicians and Artists etc that I grew up with dying takes away some of my youth that I grew up with... hence my sadness when they leave us... so my heart is with you delcan my friend... :)... cheers.

Never an imitator but an innovator and a truly unique voice in the world of the culinary arts.
A culinary outlaw of sorts in not abiding by popular opinions in the current zeitgeist of interest in food.
A rare depth and passion in exploring food and its cultural origins round the globe.

Thank you. It’s not my loss, it’s the world that never knew him who are suffering a loss. He was an amazing person who acknowledged himself as a typical psycho chef, but explored the world and embraced it without arrogance, but with acceptance. He is a joy to watch
 
...I see that George is on the latest Masterchef Ad bragging very slowly that "we... have... the... ONLY... 3D... food... Printer... in... AUSTRALIA!"... well... all that I can say to that George is "big... fuggin'... whoop... de... dooooooo!"... so they have a 3D food Printer... so what?... does that mean that nerdy kids that that can't cook for themselves when they're hungry and mum is out at Bingo can now go onto their computers to cook themselves lunch or dinner now?...

...and... how the hell does that constitute being able to actually cook in the challenges if a computer is Printing out a design for your dish?... how is that even remotely considered to be fair?... my god this show is getting desperate to fluff the show up nowadays... what's next?... a fuggin' fashion parade?... there's no point in that... Big Red would be declared the winner before any of them had even put their first item of clothing on... this show is really becoming silly lately... idiots!... rant over... cheers.

...hi delcan... I have in fact looked at a few videos of his on YouTube today out of curiosity and have watched some of his 'No Reservations' Asia Special/Cambodia and Vietnam so far too and I have to say... I like them a lot because he loves Asian cooking and has a great interviewing technique and is a great Narrator too... I can see why you liked him delcan...

...I also 'Wikipediaed' him too... he was quite the character wasn't he?... what a fighter for 'peasant food' he was... he hated that food snobbery (hence why he was never invited onto MasterChef no doubt lol!) and ate anything and everything for his shows... he is quoted as saying that the 'Chicken McNugget' is the most disgusting thing that he had ever eaten lol!... and also that he had eaten warthog rectum/fermented Shark/sheep testicles/Ant eggs/a raw Seal eyeball and an entire Cobra with it's beating Heart... it's blood... and it's bile too before now... wow!... that's true commitment to his shows isn't it?... lol!...

...also all of his books that he's published etc... he was quite the clued up individual wasn't he?... a fascinating man indeed... as I said... I can see as to why you will miss him... he reminds me of Leonard Cohen that recently passed away too... both in looks and their very amazing voices... is it just me?... look at the two of them together... what do you think?... but I think that if not in his looks then they have very similar voices for sure...



...and... when you said in your post "I see a lot of him in you" thanks for the compliment sweet lady but I am a tad bit curious as to why?... what is it about me that reminds you of the great man?... I'd love to know just to satisfy my curiosity lol!... cheers.
 
Wow, can't believe anyone hasn't watched Anthony Bourdain, he is/was brilliant..........love his cultural travel shows, far more than just a foodie.
I think of him as more a philosopher/travel guide/..............favourite episode is Spain, everything suits him in Spain.

...I'm still having fun watching heaps of Anthony Bourdain videos today too so far and have come across these little gems from him... brilliant!... lol!... and... I'm loving all of his shows that are based in Asia... he so loves their food... cheers.
