...do you know what I miss on Australian television?... I know that they are so 70's but 'Live tonight' variety shows... I used to love the Don Lane/Graeme Kennedy/Ernie Sigley type shows and especially the Hey Hey it's Saturday 'Live' show... they had international guests trundling through by the dozens... make it with a female host like Casey if need be... just saying... cheers.

...I can understand Channel 10 playing HYBPA again for people that forgot to watch it or tape it but then again... you can see it on their Tenplay website so I dunno... lol!... cheers.

They revived the 'Hey Hey It's Saturday' show back in the late 00's. It probably should have stayed in the 90's tbh. Though I liked how they gave lots of support to Tina Arena during her rise to stardom.

...yes I saw the revival of Hey Hey reepbot and sadly it had lost it's 'magic' which was a shame really but yes didn't they support Tina and many others in keeping them 'alive' in the media with their guest roles in either singing or hosting 'Red Faces' etc... aaaaah!... I miss those 'good old days'... we are so way overdue for a new Live Tonight type of show just to showcase up and coming stars as they used to do... cheers.
