Doing it through messenger each day just seems so private. The exhibitionist in me loathes our morning wake up convo without friends and lurkers looking on Xo

It is a busy time for nurses too. Illness always seems to hit the client and family harder when diagnosed around Christmas. The emotional support you need to give leaves you exhausted by the end of the day.

Rewarding and sparkle sucking at the same time.

Yeah. Snapchat has ruined good old fashioned webcam fun.

I am going great guns. Moving wards in early January as you know. One thing I don't think I have told you, we are planning a NT holiday next year. We were going to go overseas, but decided to fly to NT and hire a mobile home for 10 days and fucking camp! I seriously haven't camped in 10 years. Dreamy McEducator was telling me about his trip in August, and he made it sound too magical not to experience.

So having an xmas week, early xmas with my family, xmas with Noah's and then NYE in Sydney, how about you?

I actually have my baby brother and his family coming tonight for two nights. We will have an early Xmas of sorts. I am actually meeting his biological father for the first time tomorrow night. He lives in Yandina, which is 10mins from me. Talk about small world.

We will do the usual. Three of us working, then meet at home for a baked ham dinner. My partner is still getting over last years xmas disaster which involved him leaving the ham out, which meant it was ruined and had to be binned!!!!

Oh wow! how will that go? will it be awkward?

Ohhh well tell my BFF that it could of been worse, could of eaten said ham and had xmas night in hospital in beds next to each other with bodily fluids coming from every orifice
